Good idea, let me know your adress before :D
Well, at least you would be a worthy owner of them! :)
....good new center punch :)
Yeah, I'll try to modify it to a "stubby" punch.
The wrenches aren´t that expensive i think ?
This set currently sells for 89,90€ + tax (810 SEK)
Haven't checked that set. At 1000:- SEK after tax, it's a ok price for a set with no sizes missing.
Ok.. It's time for some photos I think. :bounce:

10mm No 7xl vs' No7
Those 7XLs looks good. I'm more and more tempted to buy a set. Perhaps after the holidays.
Wow! it not looks like cheap item:dunno:
maybe it's to late to wish your birthday any way Happy Birthday buddy:)

Well, hopefully it will work good for my hobby use.
Thanks, I had a good birthday.
Then enjoy your last year as young. :)
Old but it very valuable to me:) got it as a gift from my young brother:thumbup:
That's a well used tool, a really long lasting gift!
Also got Wera screwdrivers, gedore screwdrivers, knipex pliers and WGB adjustable wrenches but don't have pictures of them yet. If anyone is interested I'll snap a few.
You never have to ask if pictures are wanted here. The more the better! :bounce:

Nice Gedore's:thumbup: I've got only one set of four Gedore wrenches (n°400). They're brand new and i haven't use them yet, but their finish is excellent and look very durable.

Thanks Automatique. Indeed, the No.400 has awesome finish.

Stubbies, Facom and Witte.

Nice stubbies. That stubby from witte I like the most.

ääähhhh no :D ok maybe i will :):
:lol::thumbup::beer:

thanks for the offer, i will see if i can find one here first :

Ok.. :)

nice comparison pics !!!!!! Thanks !!!!!!:

Thank you! :)

yes there are several No.7 wrenches, normal style but also "XL", the finish is very durable and should last a very long time.:

Thanks. This finish push me to bay them over the hazet. Plus the better price and the dealer near to my house! :D  I have never see an old No7 though. If you can, take a photo for me please. If you'll be given an opportunity, no big deal, I'm just curious.
so, how much ? :):

About 20% cheaper but no standard numbers. Only 9-11-16-20-23 etc.

I don't know, since Bauhaus is my only source of Matador so. It's sad, since Matador was a simple way to get a quick fix of German tools :)

Noticed the same COO issue in my Bauhaus, but was able to pic some german made from their pile to complete my spanner set.

I found that Hornbach sells WGB for a similar price. They are stamped 'Germany' maybe it's an alternative. WGB seems to be comparable to matador.

Wow! Impressive! Hobbyist or pro?

Serious hobbyist I guess. I don't use the tools to make a living. I am getting ready to do some major remodeling work on my home and make some furniture. I now have more time to do these things and I will retire in a couple years and have even more time to do the things I enjoy.

TjoFrasse, in many states, including Ohio, people can get a concealed carry permit. However stores and offices frequently put up signs forbidding you to carry your gun.

Oh, so it was a misunderstanding then. I thought AP complained that this state had tighter regulations than his.

Yea. Every year they have less inventory, 10% of the tools for sale are display/used(with new prices that are raised constantly...)yet they stay in business somehow. :headscrat Also right down the street in Grangier which has a ton of inventory and even customers(something you never see at Fastenal...) I'll try and get pics of their soon. They have a lot of NOS Irwin tools, Victorinox, American assembled Makita, Bosch, and other fun stuff. :)

I have been drooling  over the awesome tool posted on this thread for months and I have finally talked my fiancee into letting my buy some tools (i'snt she wonderful).

I'm on the fence for a set of Facom 440 set of wrenches:
http://www.ultimategarage.com/shop/part.php?cPath=35_61_70_343_984&products_id=4686

Some wera screwdrivers:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0001NQQCM/?tag=atomicindus08-20

And I was hoping for your input on good 3/8th ratchet set for under $200 (German/French of course).

I strongly suggest you email jensputzier and see what it would cost to get the 902SPC set sent to you. It's a very complete 1/2 and 1/4 set.

I took out the tools and looked for a label and its made in China. :( I was hoping it was made in Switzerland or Germany.
:bounce::evil:

In my area it is highly thought of, its probably the same way in Ohio. I'm not sure how it is elsewhere as they have a cheap line of powertools and thats probably what most people think of when they hear the brand Ridgid.
:thumbup::beer:
Thanks!!

Also got Wera screwdrivers, gedore screwdrivers, knipex pliers and WGB adjustable wrenches but don't have pictures of them yet. If anyone is interested I'll snap a few.

I like all Unior tools. Specially the wrenches and the new ratchet. Have you any?
Once in a store I played a bit with the ratchet. Very, very smooth! Ι compare it only with the U-10 of Gedore which is one of the smoothest that I have try!

yeah older models, but not mine :(
the 450N still look "old" click. The 610N has the old look too. It seems only the combi wrenches have the new design.

Maybe it´s cheaper to make the forging die, because the milling machine can make it faster with the newer simpler design ? Or maybe so the wrenches are easier to clean for our american friends ? :D

btw.: :)

good question, i don´t know :) Not mine. Looks german :)

You're probably right, it's cheaper to make a cast with a two steps design than one with three steps.

Yes, you're right about the hub cap puller, Gedore N°631. Actually, it's a very different tool than the Facom you've just posted. Sorry for the confusion:bowdown:

Lol, yes it looks like a DIY tool, but the price is not DIY at all:D
