I just picked up a True Friends hedge shear the other day and it looks exactly like your Freund Monte except the handles have a brownish/root beer color.

good choice!

had two in our formula student team back then and used the **** out of it.
I only did not get one myself because I wanted to have more space..

Looks like you are a tool box hoarder and addicted to european/german tools. I spot a ac jack, a stihl blower...

Whoa, how much to ship that?
94.- Euro :)
but maybe it´s easier/better to buy in the US :) click

I don't have all that many SAE tools. I couldn't make up my mind on which color to get, so I got one of each.

Looking nice.
Thanks for that info.
I always assume every Wiha plier is SROV now.
I will try to remember yellow plus red = Switzerland.

Unfortunately the new insulated pliers are made in SROV. You can still find old stock Swiss made pliers in the US for now though.

To be fair, the SROV wiha pliers are still very good. I own a pair of the Long nose pliers which I carry in my tool bag, and the machining is on par with knipex and nws. Wiha has done very well keeping the product quality high.

Made a storage box for my Hazet 600N set:

It has a 10mm plexiglas folding lid.

That's a great box Dutch!

I've always tended to make up my own boxes for tools, not sure why more folks don't! Never gone for a Perspex lid though, but it's a great idea!

Hey, if I made a few boxes I could have red lighting for Snap On, blue for Hazet green for Stahlwille and so on... Or am I thinking of a fantasy garage now!

I didn't get pictures of everything while it was out of my box so the next few photos have some non "old world" tools in them as well
