I got mine from Hornbach Kerkrade in Netherlands. Now I realise why 3 blades cost less than 5 Euros!!!

Sent from my HTC Desire 620 using Tapatalk

Mine came from karwei iirc I paid close to 8 euros for two.

The two batches before which led me to stop using them for steel were online. Tool station dot nl. They were were a lot cheaper than karwei.

Tried the last new blade on a 10mm galvanized hex bolt today. About half way through cutting action got less. Teeth are visibly dulled.

[emoji13]

They don't cost the world and fine for softer metals so I'll keep picking them up if on special.

I'll keep using something else for steel.

That's a good one I do get these online sometimes.

Current batch is big diy store bought . While it's not impossible that they get fakes in their supply chain it's also less likely. Haven't tried these on steel yet.

May stick a bolt in the vise later today and give it a go to see.
I find the Bahco warning...

That little 1/4 bad Boy served me fantastically for the last 3-4 years as a maintenance engineer for the majority of motor terminals/boxes etc when testing changing motor and gearboxes etc... (you always know when you need the big stuff) but these would generally suffice up to 22+ kw. and its great knowing it dosent matter which fixing that lid has from Fla/Posi/Phillips/Torx/hex head etc, you've always got it covered and when doing up soft brass terminals the small handled ratchet is an instant de-rating for your Torque elbow ;)
That said its man enough for 'most' 13mm jobs too.

**** got to go now the guys in the white coats are coming....I´ll blame it on Garage journal!

Are you crazy?? I lay mine on towels so they dont get dirty.
Every sunday i clean them and oil them.
Then i never use em....:lol_hitti

I notice you've only 1 pair of the raptor pliers wrench. They don't seem to get much mention on the forums either. Is there much point in buying a pair of those? I've got 4 pairs of varying sizes of the pliers wrench (they're great), but saw those and was kinda mixed on whether there was any use when one already has the pliers wrench...

Well, there's only one size of raptors available
I've also been torn whether to get them or not, but there have always been other things I needed more and I really try not to overspend

I was going to post that the only European brand was Facom (thinking that it'll get something similar to MAC's Precision Torque profile), but doing a search on google, and to my surprise, I didn't come across one. I think the one you're thinking of is this?:

header-467R.png

That's a typical profile for a speed wrench; not a flank-drive plus feature.

Come to think of it, Wera's Joker wrench should be noted as it has a anti-slip feature on the spanner end.

The one drtyler posted was what I was thinking of.

Somehow I'd always been under the impression that Wera's Joker had a ratchet effect open end like the Facom spanner you posted.

reasonable prices for fellow Dutch and Belgium GJ buddies.

Little more expensive than TBS but offset again by shipping costs from germany:

Hey guys,

I have also bought some tools from the following sites and they are both fast and helpful.

Also Dutch and deliver around Europe

Proftools.nl
Hugoschipper.nl

Tot ziens

So does anyone know of a Metabo German online re-seller (internet shop) that ships internationally? Preferably not a US shop.

Thanks in advance.

What is the consensus on Ridgid Peddinghaus Superior vises? Or should I just spend my money on a Brockhaus Heuer?

When I was looking for a vice, Monte suggested Ridgid over Heuer. Just my 2 cents.

What are you looking to get? Different websites will ship different things, but Metabo tools are generally much cheaper in the US than in Germany.

I am looking for a Metabo BS 18 LTX BL Quick cordless drill. I am aware that they are cheaper in the US, but i would rather a 220v since my mains are that value.

I would just get the drill here and get 627292000 (charger) on Amazon.de. It will still save you money vs getting the whole drill kit from Germany, and you'll still have a warranty on your tool/batteries.

Actually, I finally found someone who will ship the even faster charger to the US: http://www.engineeringagencies.co.uk/metabo-627265000-asc-ultra-charger-144v-36v

These guys too, though again they make you ask for a quote http://www.dibranto.co.uk/ - no prior experience with either store.

No idea on cost though, as they make you request a quote. The difference between the two is charging speed. That said, the one on Amazon.de is still faster than the US charger, and the US charger doesn't give me any trouble with charging speed.

Do you have the same drill by any chance? You seem to know much about it :)

I sure do. My rambling review from when I first got it
. I'm actually looking into establishing a dealer, but I wouldn't be able to sell any cheaper than the already existing websites anyway, so don't bother waiting for me lol.

BTW, if you do order from Amazon.de, might as well get the 90 degree chuck and the quick bit holder at the same time to combine the shipping. You can get them both in the US, but it's harder (the websites that carry metabo don't carry these for some reason, and local-store pricing on Metabo in the US varies so wildly).

The only thing I would change with my review is while the case feels like junk, it actually turns out to be very durable and I like that is has room for accessories that you buy separately.

OMG, thanks man, I was looking at this drill for few days and decided last night to look for some reviews online and on YouTube, and behold, your video came along and I was completely sold. Thanks for your review, time and effort :)

litl headsup for wgb curious guys.
After cutting and grinding it a bit I can tell it's not as hard as real tools, this one is comparable with the things you find at Lidl... tool like objects.

going to make a bmw i-abs bleeder from this thing

Buy the tool in the us and get a charger from Amazon uk. New plug and voila!

My dad does the same with his ever growing Makita collection.

Both tools and batteries are cheap in the us.

The output of the charger for the battery is the same so all you need is a charger from more expensive Europe.
