But I think another use can be made from it, for those days you wake up and don't feel very lucid, very clear... it will easily reach through the ears. :bounce:

by hand or with a power tool ??? :D

Will try it with a Bosch IXO ;)

haha i want to see that !!!! :lol_hitti

Tryed but due to limitations of the camera I couldn't.

:(:)

10 years old Hozan plier:wtf:

That right!! a shipping charge more expensive than cutting mat price:confused::mad:
Better look at ur local dealer, u can get a better quality & good price too:)
I will  It was the first time I had seen that kind of board, and it looks useful for taking pictures of tools and parts and stuff!

I'm also looking for something like this:

I saw one like it on an episode of CSI when they were using it to photograph something.

I figure I'll have plenty of use for it, since I have a BMW in the garage awaiting a reshell and revamp... , and plenty of questions to ask, and plenty of broken things to take pictures of!

A few Beta sockets I picked up this past week:

1/2" 10-32mm 920A series. Nice chrome. Well finished. No COO, of course...

I've used a few of them, so please forgive the fingerprints and oil.

If anyone has questions about the longevity of these sockets, let me know... I'll be using them on a daily basis for now on.

I'm slowly retiring my SK sockets, they are well worn and it's time to take them home. Up next will probably be some Facom 3/8" shallows.

If you have any sewing stores in your area, check them out for the cutting mat - may also google sign supplies - we used similar mats in our old sign shop... an online graphic design/photo supply retailer will probably have a similar ruler of sorts.

I'm interested in the beta sockets, of course. As you know, I ordered the larger of those two sets and plan to use them as my go to big sockets.

Cutting mats are usually available at hobby stores, too - like where they have scrapbook, leather, etc. Xacto and Excelite would be two common makers.

Very nice Beta set. Do you have any experience with their Ratchets?

Nope... maybe some day though...they are almost too pretty for me to chew up in the shop. I like my Facom S151, Hazet 916, SK palm, Arm 88'er, and Wright ratchets just fine. Can never have enough ratchets though!

Nice sockets !
Looks like no "Flank Drive" ?

Yea, I did notice that - the walls are essentially flat with a fairly deep broaching. So far, so good - well see if they work out over time.

Latest buy. Got some gift cards from the local mall for christmas and decided to put one of them to good use.

Cost NOK 149. There is no COO and no brand name on the tool itself either.

Made in China I guess but that's ok because it looks and feels like a solid tool during use.

:(:)

It's better with a powertool and with the help of some friend :)

Hahaha, you want to see an IXO in flames, don't you? :bounce:

Well before I used a corded drill and it was heavy, limited to use in places that had an electrical outlet(even then I used an extention cord most of the time), and it needed a tool to change bits and the 18V solves all those problems.

You are right, but the only problem is that those batteries are anything but cheap.

This pair are some of my latest additions, which came last week from Germany; although I think they have been posted before, I wanted to post them.

Has anyone seen and/or used a stud extractor wrench like this one made by Bahco:
LINK? I have never seen this style before.

Do the stud extractor sockets perform better than this Bahco extractor wrench?

Thanks,

Dave

The germans have a lot of these (i.e. made by kukko ) except they are square driven, it seems to work fine.

Maxipouce,

Thanks for answering my question.

What do you mean by "square driven" in your above comment?

What is the difference between "square driven" and the design of the Bahco stud extractor wrench?

Thanks,

Dave

With 1,3 AH it wont last that long. The Amazon.de reviews say between 15 and 25 minutes. My father sanded down 4 steps, but i dont know if the battery was half full or full . I dont know if you really need cordless sanders....

hey! i'm in this thread now! got these pliers last week.

nice ! Already with the new handles :pimpflash

Mine was "broken" (actually burned:) ) too :)

Too much metal dust inside the cable drum so it started to burn one day and melted :)

ok
:D
but i only have the old design and only the 250mm version. Is that ok for you ? :D

good
:D

you can buy both. I like the old thick NWS handles because they´re very comfortable and sidecutters cut very good. They don´t have a very large selection like Knipex, but the most important pliers are also available from NWS. If you have a chance to try them out why not :)

For "grab and go" tools and sets...Tanos boxes, still made in Germany. Sortimo makes something similar which is starting to show up in the Bosch blue color in the tool stores here in the states. SD
