Nice, Bart! Those needlenose are next on my list. I should be getting my long flex head ratchet in any day now!
I wasn't even aware of a long flex head. I would really like a 916LG, though!!

8816G is the part number for the long flexhead 3/8". According to the 2010 catalog, it is listed as 276mm long. The regular 3/8" ratchets (8816P, 8816F, 8816S) are all 199mm long.
The 916LG goes up to 590mm! That's 120mm longer than the 1/2" breaker bar. Catalog says max. torque for that ratchet is 600nm. If my math is right, that's over 440 ft lbs. Yikes.
I'm working on motorcycles mostly so I don't need anything that big but that thing is a brute!

I just got a price quote for a Beta C39 tool cart here in the States....... $2100

Its a similar story with Snap on over here
has anyone ever researched the feasibility of trading with our European brothers? Like, I go buy the SO they want and they buy the Beta that I want and we each ship to each other, just as an example. Does that make it cheaper than ordering/importing/taxes, etc? Or is it not worth it?

700€ without taxes in France (19.6% vat), the steel made one is at 399€ excl.vat
Monte...we use Marzipan for wall spackling here in the states. J/K! Personally, I can't stand the stuff. It's as bad as Marmite.
Got in a few more Hazet items today - pliers from my Assistent guy and bits and wrench from eBay.![]()

@Monte:
Monte you see my private message?
Went to Bauhaus today. I was going to buy this:
Monte, what's that smart case go for? That thing is awesome!
Stahlwille 422 3/8" Ratchet. The handle had to go first, then lube. I am still getting use to the difference from snap on. My Snap On Ratchets feel weird without Hard handles. I am digging the Stahlwille products. I am ordering from sam StagsThey ship the same day. I have received all of my stuff in two days. I do not care if they are more $$.
Stahwille North America AKA(Baum Tools) FU$K YOU. I am slamming you on the internet for ripping me off on shipping 8.30 for a 5.20 small box. I ordered one 1/4" 14MM socket and they charged 8.30 to ship. I called and spoke to them and they could care less even when I asked if they would like to pay 8.30 to ship one 1/4 inch socket. They would not even refund the difference for actual shipping!!!!!!!!
! After some arguing they agreed not to charge 20% restocking, but I had to pay for shipping back to them. Live and learn. Samstag is good, but pricy. Try primetools.co.uk. Very good prices and shipping is about 2 weeks.Thanks to some patience and ninja-like Amazon searching, I finally got the small torx drivers I needed.

Here are my latest purchases. I found some good deals on Beta tools at Amazon and I could not pass them up. I also got some Wiha micro screwdriver set. This week I finally got some of the Facom modules and the micro torx screwdrivers I had ordered some weeks ago.

@archirelic
I used the rivet gun to repair my Snap on tool box and it worked great. I think it is a good deal since it includes everything you need and it was fairly cheap at $32.
no dealer in Malaysiaonly in singapore: www.wingpoh.com.sg
If you want something rustproof Knipex offers chrome plated pliers, NWS also has chrome plated pliers (the ones with black/yellow handles), the NWS pliers with the grey color are "Teflon" coated so they should be rust proof too. So thats a 1:1. I only do light duty jobs (cut copper cable) for heavy duty i use Knipex mini bolt cutters, cable shears etc. The NWS pliers seem to cut slightly better, i don´t know why, maybe sharper blade or maybe its just the Teflon coating so the blade "glides" better through the cable/wire. So thats 2:1 for NWS. I also like the (old) handles better so thats a 3:1 for NWSBut the handle shape/feel is subjective. Other consumers prefer dipped handles so its up to you to decide.
im very appreciate

i dare to said it the best when compare to my shiny SNAP ON
NOTHING is as bad as Marmite! I have a jar that a UK buddy brought me - I use it for scaring away undesirables and fueling rockets.

I haven't used thier fine tooth one yet, but it is the same as Facom and others. I hope to get a fine tooth 1/4" drive. The 3/8" has 32 teeth or something like that. Not fine tooth at all, but I have never heard anyone complain about them as far as a traditional ratchet.![]()
