Pretty little drivers... Should have picked those up in D, as well... My Elise is all Pozi...

maybe Jens has them in stock.... :)

Any connection between Halder Supercraft and SwissTool, a hammer look like SwissTool series:headscrat

ok not Halder + PB Swiss but Halder + Habero (Gedore) to show you the differences. On the first pic the hammer on the left + the hammer on the right look similar or identical - just a different size....:

mmm035a.jpg

in this pic if you look close you can see the different manufacturing methods - the Halder hammer on the left has a welded head/sleeve design while the Habero hammer has a soldered head/sleeve design: (where the sleeve meets the head)

yes the high end models are made with HSS cutting edges...

Thanks for having taken time to explain me that:thumbup:

Last question : The Bessey D17A(L) doesn't have a forged steel head ?

nice tool ! Didn´t know this brand !
Any COO on the tool/package ?

Can't remenber. I bought it many years ago, but Unger website says their production sites are in USA, Germany and India. :dunno:

Since it seems that Hazet discontinued the PZ version of their stubby screwdrivers i had to pick them up quick.

Cute and... Made in germany (afaik)

Welcome to the forum Finkel. And you HAVE to post pictures of your tools. That's the law here on Garage Journal. ;)

400 pages.... wow. With more and more new participants, we'll see 500 pages by year end for sure.
This thread is a great resource, but it could be so much better. I wish this thread could be somehow categorized/indexed so that it's easier to search through it by subject, theme, tool type, brand, European, Japanese, Taiwanese, etc.

Needless to say Hazet and Stahlwille are very good tools. I think they are on par with my Snapon tools. Nepros, however, is in its own league IMO. For fit, finish and functionality I would definitely choose Nepros.

 I share the same opinion.

Sweet collection

I'm in Japan right now... And dang if the Yen to USD wasn't so baaaaaad, I would snag one of those KTC Carts. For the most part I can get everything cheaper through Nepros.net/KTC, FranksTools, or Levelchrome.

I really like Stahlwille wrenches

Exchange rate does **** right now for sure.
Please do tell us about your tool shopping experience there. :)

I see the thread has hit 400 pages that has to be a record of somekind. :)

Maybe one day we make it into the Guiness World record Book for the largest thread in the world :)

Available here, if not can it be shipped? Also would that be safe to use in a HK G36?

i don´t know if they ship dangerous fluids in airplanes these days :)
you could try it here: www.fessmann-hecker.de
I thought "Ballistol" or "Gunex" are the right products ?

I can post some pictures if some are interested. I have also 4 knipex

yes we are interested :)

(sorry for the mistakes, i'm french...)

that´s ok :) Only Englishmen and americans are not allowed to make mistakes :D ;)

I am planning a trip to Germany, any suggestions for tool purchasing, or factory tours?

where will you be ?

Hi all, I have being reading this thread and found it so interesting that my little contribution would be in order:

My family got this socket set in middle of 1960's as present.

Bahco Stockholm

attachment.php

It has being seriously used, even today and none of socket have not broken not even worn out.

attachment.php

only thing gone is swivel, but constantly looking to find replacement.
I still have little plastick filler parts that used to fill places not having sockets in this set as Bahco used this same mold to sell other sets. Today I fill rest of these with other sockets.
Speed brace is somewhere, just could not find it for this picture.

@Monte : Nicely designed cutter and casted metal frame:thumbup: Looks like it's time for me to buy one or two NTcutters products.

@american lockpicker : For your guns i warmly recommand you these two products :

Balistol and Guntec (Liqui Moly). http://www.ballistol.de/english/index.php?page=00

Ballistol is simply the best ever cleaning oil i had to use. Not only recommanded for weapons but for everything you want to clean. The German use it in their Medical industry.

I also recommand you "Guntec" from Liqui Moly for greasing rifle/gun bolts and other parts.

Well I nearly got a Swiss Bosch hammerdrill today to celebrate 400 pages but the one at Lowes was scuffed up and didn't look photogenic enough so I didn't buy it. :lol_hitti Also I found 5 bars of Swiss chocolate at Aldi for $0.99 apiece so all is well. :)

some more chemicals for you :)

Nice chemicals but you need a bottle of this. :)

I have saved a lot of frozen Kleins I've found at flea markets with this. :)

Oh where can I get that larger knife at? I need one for work, the last one you linked to used smaller blades like your new one.

It would be cool to make it into Guiness...

I've heard of ballistol and I once contacted the company that sells it in the states and its made with ingredients from Germany and West Virginia(Dupont perhaps?) for the US market.

Good thread... seeing tools from other countries reminds me of the time I had to use a MIG welder in Japan to repair a wrecked race car when I was racing at Motegi... the setting were all in Japanese... As far as large thread goes... theres one on Race-dezert.com thats over 16,000 pages..
