Hi there guy's. To introduce my self I'm from Greece and i have no tools. Nothing at all. Someone stole my little collection and for now i have only one screwdriver and an old orbis plier.

welcome to the forum !
Sad to hear !!
But a screwdriver and a pair of pliers is a good start for a new collection :D ;):eek:

Yeah, I try to act stupid around people with the same illness only. The tool fever! It's enough that the GF already thinks I'm an idiot for photographing tools for the internet. :)

You take photos of tools for the internet ???? You´re strange dude !!
:D :D :D

HAZET 600N 10 - 22 metric :

Also does anybody knows the COO of the Bulle pneumatic tools?

Format/Bessey. Cuts easier it seems. It´s ergonomic enough, comfortable to use. My preferred tin snips. Also available from Würth with red handles. Quality ? I don´t know if there is a difference. Probably made by the same manufacturer anyway...

btw. my tin snips collection :)

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Nop, no insurance. It was only a litle toolbox. It had two full range of 1/4 and 1/2 socket. A full set of open box wrenches along with some open end, all my pliers and screwdrivers (not too much like monte ), one c spaner and some other staff that i needed for my car and my motorcycle. I hadn't a collection like yours guys but all was very good tools. Most of them was from the old range of facom, some other from beta, gedore, nws etc.

I realy not need so good tools but i can't without the perfect fitment of a professional wrench.

It's ok.. Never mind. Like you say it's a great chance to start over again.

This beta 13-17 was under the seat of my motorcycle.

Why do you want a bottle jack ? They don't have any good reputation, using them under a car could be dangerous. If you work on cars, Jack floors are way safer.

Anyway, many people consider the German "Weber" to be the best company for bottle jacks. http://www.weber.de/hydraulik/en/html/wagenheber-standardmodelle.php

ps : It seems many products from the Swedish Nike are now made in China.:(

my speciality is carburators and multible carburator (four or six carburator cars) adjustments. I just love old Weber carburated cars!
So I really, really use my tools and they are not just for keep in toolbox.

No offense intended, but that reminds me of a quote I used in a German auto forum when discussing the quality of my new 5 series BMW adjustable suspension and it's drawback (I assume that you know what you're doing, luckily for me all my car's only have single carburetors):

"Make the suspension adjustable and they will adjust it wrong – look what they can do to a Weber carburetor in just a few moments of stupidity with a screwdriver. (Colin Chapman)"

just to use it to change a blown tyre while travelling on the motorway! My car is a 1997 opel vectra b. The supplied mechanical jack is user hostile and at the same moment looks feeble :(

BTW I also saw AC Hydraulic on page 1:bounce:

You are absolutely right, I see so many cars that has been adjusted by "expert" and most cases some parts in carburator system has being broken...
When you get carburators right, and do get them and all carburated cars will keep in tune for years, carburated cars are so mutch fun to drive and fast too as carburator do not understan enviromental issues.

some of the stuff i bought from evilbay arrived today :D

IMG_0550.jpg

wera #6torx micro screwdriver, very nice to use.. sadly turns out its a #7 i needed :lol_hitti

IMG_0547.jpg

Hazet Din spanner, amazed how much nicer this is then the multitude of similar ones i have from car toolkits (mostly made by heyco) feels really solid and well made in comparison.

IMG_0553.jpg

Hazet 1/2" speedbrace, been after a decent one for a while, shame its not a 3/8 but it will be handy all the same

IMG_0555.jpg

Stahlwille 1/4 drive extension

IMG_0552.jpg

IMG_0549.jpg

stahlwille '50' 32mm 1/2" socket, not seen these in the black finish in the catalog, possibly the nicest finished socket I've seen, the outside is silky smooth  and inside is better finished than a lot of sockets are on the outside :bounce:

and finally, not really a tool but good all the same, and made in Germany

IMG_0560.jpg

pr88 barrier cream, best stuff ive ever used, works really well, even if your working with diesel cars (sump oil out of them seems to be the worst to get off)

also @zuspiel

I took some close up pics of the jaws of my engineer screw pliers

zuzpiel,

just the pliers for now. It's either a small order to sneak under the norwegian VAT limit or a big order to save on shipping and customs fees. Wallet says small order for now. :lol_hitti

Must give those flex sockets some thoughts though...

the Top, short adjustable looks well priced too....

@monte, are all Torq tools made in Germany? seen a few cheap ratchets etc by them lately but didnt recognize the name (other then the fact there is a chain of fuel stations named Torq here) so never paid much attention

The only "Torq" tools i know are the garden tools sold through the "Hornbach" big box stores over here. It´s a mix of german + import, but mostly import.
