My new Hazet 1/2 ratchet. It is the old design but I love the old ratchet designs from the past.

@AutomatiquE
just to use it to change a blown tyre while travelling on the motorway! My car is a 1997 opel vectra b. The supplied mechanical jack is user hostile and at the same moment looks feeble :(

Ahhh Ok, now i understand ! Then a bottle jack should be better than the cheap/unstable/dangerous mechanical stock jack...but still take care:)

@Moose-LandTran + Monte : Nice axes:bounce::beer:

@Ratchet : Engineer, Stahlwille, HZ...only quality tools:thumbup:

Automatique, that's a cool tool. I think I remember Monte had one that looked quite similar (I think it was Beta).

I'd like to see a video of it being used in action. Can you post a video? .....or Monte? :D

some of the stuff i bought from evilbay arrived today :D
wera #6torx micro screwdriver, very nice to use.. sadly turns out its a #7 i needed :lol_hitti

Hazet Din spanner, amazed how much nicer this is then the multitude of similar ones i have from car toolkits (mostly made by heyco) feels really solid and well made in comparison.

Hazet 1/2" speedbrace, been after a decent one for a while, shame its not a 3/8 but it will be handy all the same

Stahlwille 1/4 drive extension

stahlwille '50' 32mm 1/2" socket, not seen these in the black finish in the catalog, possibly the nicest finished socket I've seen, the outside is silky smooth  and inside is better finished than a lot of sockets are on the outside :bounce:

and finally, not really a tool but good all the same, and made in Germany

pr88 barrier cream, best stuff ive ever used, works really well, even if your working with diesel cars (sump oil out of them seems to be the worst to get off)

I took some close up pics of the jaws of my engineer screw pliers

as you can see very well made + finished, as seems to be common in Japanese tools

Nice Hazet and Stahlwille stuff!

Those pliers looks very well made.

Ahm, did you guys see this:

Or the 6pc set for a couple of quid more...

Yup, have it and the 12pt 3/8" socket set also :) And more on the way...

Moose' Tool from the Old World for today:

My new Fiskars axe, made in Finland! It lives in the shop, just in case. ;)

Nice! Fiskars is a reliable brand!

nice axe !
btw. axe !
My new "Torq" axe:

Nice, do you know OEM?

My new Hazet 1/2 ratchet. It is the old design but I love the old ratchet designs from the past.

Good looking ratchet!

Tapestry/Tack hammer. The wife has already commandeered this one.

Flexible 1/4" bit driver

Extendable Plumber's Wrench

Those Beta sure have a nice finish!

I don't know how it happened but I just ordered one of these from an Ebay vendor called Jens something. :headscrat Do the pictures make me do things?

Yes, pictures here makes you do things. Things that are bad for your wallet. :lol_hitti

Hello eveybody!

I bought this Gedore 19TMZ 1/2" socket set from an old man 2 weeks ago, I think it is in good condition. Maybe it is not the right place to ask it, but do you have idea how much can I get for this if I would like to sell it on ebay?

I second the video... :D
Really curious how this works...

Sorry, no video but Monte made one about his Beta. The tool i've posted is a different construction but works the same way than the Beta.

Few more pics.

Nice, do you know OEM?

But i don´t know if they are the OEM or another company.

Ok. Fiberglass handled axes are not as nice to look at, but can be practical.

Nice video :)

Those screwdrivers are crazy. :D

My latest arrival from Tradesmanschoise: Stahlwille 8-piece 1/2" 12-point set. Again with these sets the sizes are odd, no 13mm! (10-11-12-14-15-16-17-19) And, notice that the 10mm is just a 6-point...

Yes, but it doesn't say on the item info, the picture there shows all as 12 points.

http://www.tradesmanschoice.com/catalog/Stahlwille/50UK_8.html

For me it's not such a big deal, I have 12-point 10mm in the 3/8" set. Just thought it could be good to point out for other potential buyers.

Today as I was travelling to work I noticed the Hilti van in a parking lot near a grocery store. I had my dad pull in and drive up to it and it was empty. So I looked around and there was a shop being redone so I got out and went inside and noticed this really hot girl with a Hilti hard hat. So I went up to her and asked is she was a Hilti dealer and she said yes so I said I was interested in a Sawzall and she said there was some in a catalog and gave me one. Then I was telling her I used to be a big fan of Bosch but since they are outsourcing from USA, Switzerland, and Germany to China, Malaysia, and Mexico I wanted to switch brands. She gave me one of her cards and said call me if you see anything you like in the catalog. :) As we was walking to her van(which had neat graphics all over it and was a European model :) ) to get prices she started talking tools to me and she knew more than me. Also the price she quoted was significantly less than Bosley who said $450+tax IIRC. :D

I also would like to know who is the OEM of these Bessey scisors:headscrat I doubt they're made by Fiskars cause the screw is different.
Maybe Monte knows ?

AutomatiquE,

Nice rotband plus hammer. I've always wanted more of those.
What do you think of the MOB hammers though, the Carbon series? Those seem readily available.....at least with all the bricolage type stores I visited in Paris.

Monte,

Thank you for making the video. I appreciate you taking the time to do it.
Same goes to TJ for his video of his garage.

@superautobacs : This MOB carbon hammer is not bad at all
http://bricolage-outillage.fr/index...___manche_carbon___0001320701-selcat-286.html

Now i'd like to know if it's really made from carbon or it's just a commercial label:headscrat

@Duarte : My brother owns the BT.11, it's the shorter cantilver. As far as i can remenber steel sheets are not very thick, but the box is nicelly finished with many stamps. Made in Italy.
