Ok. Fiberglass handled axes are not as nice to look at, but can be practical.

Gränsfors might be better suited for you ;)

Those screwdrivers are crazy. :D

My latest arrival from Tradesmanschoise:

nice set ! :rocker:

Gedore Rotband-Plus hammer, 500 grammes.

Today as I was travelling to work I noticed the Hilti van in a parking lot near a grocery store.

And did you order the saw for that good price ?? :D

Latest acquisitions, not sure about the Bessey scissors, no area of manufacturing listed on packaging...I guess that can only mean one thing? :(

yes i think it means that one thing :)
but nice other tools ! :) ;)

Today I saw gold plated Hazet 600N 13mm wrench, I was told that when you sold enaugh Hazet tools in your shop, they used to send gold plated 13mm wrench to you.

piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiics !!!!!!! :)

Maybe Monte knows ?

i don´t know :)
Somebody in a country which is called "PRC" i guess :)

Received yesterday morning:bounce: Reilang oiler

beautiful oiler !!!

Now i'd like to know if it's really made from carbon or it's just a commercial label:headscrat

Doesn´t the description say that there is a layer of carbon fibre in the handle ?

i think the heads are always hardened (HRC 50 - 58, min. 3mm deep) but the "induction" models are extra hardened ? (see Gedore catalog 2011 page 421)

I have a "Peddinghaus" branded hammer from MOB with the red handle and it says "made in France". The production in Germany closed its doors like 10 years ago.

They also produce a lot in Romania: www.mob-ius.ro

Ok, thanks for info:thumbup: So maybe this MOB hammer is made in France.

i hope :)

btw, my Halder simplex doesn't have any COO, do you believe they're made in Germany ?

i dunno....never thought about that.... the Halder "MaxxCraft" hammers are from Germany, the "Supercraft" hammers from switzerland and the "Secural" hammers from Slovenia... the "Simplex" hammers..... ? From one of these countries too i guess :)

That is an amazing catalogue. Its fantastic that a company commits to making such a range of one tool to meet the needs of all those trades.

I am after some new striking tools and I will fly to Europe to purchase & support a company like this if I have too. :)

ok not Australia but Peddinghaus + MOB hammers in USA:

ps: What brand are the green Felo screwdrivers ?

Not yet as I'm ordering this "powder actuated tool" :D from Czech Republic Monday...

Monte, do you know who makes these cases?

A_4000821843_01.jpg

Seems many German companies use them, i have one for my LTR pressure tester. Hazet, Kukko, Gedore, Klann, etc use them. I looked on mine but found no manufacturer mark, i want a couple more.

http://www.wag.de/loesungen/index.php?language=en

here the shop: http://www.wag-shop.de/
But they only sell to german customers and only in package quantities like 16 or 24 pieces of the same size/color. Minimum order 150.-€ ...
They´re cheap though...3,74 € for the smallest size...

If all those people would look, how ratchets look like inside, I would suspect that many pipe extension and tyre change would not be done with ratchets.

Btw; thanks for efort, for takin your new ratchet in parts.

As with socket wrench; I have theory that you get used to use one desing. As for me, there are one later style, (or last desing) ratchet that I used to use and I found that is dificult to "learn" new ones.

Yes, it is normal looong screwdriver, that can be used for example; to adjust idle under airbox.

Second from down I think is for screw some ruber cover out and really short one can be tool to push new one back, as it just round from inside and non magnetic, but second from up, 4519-1, I could not find any use.

I actually couldn't find those in particular, but by the number range they are likely "specialty tools, Renault or fuel supply". ;)

post some pics when done !

People can do whatever they want to with their tools but then they shouldn´t expect warranty...

As with socket wrench; I have theory that you get used to use one desing. As for me, there are one later style, (or last desing) ratchet that I used to use and I found that is dificult to "learn" new ones.

i dunno, i sometimes change the ratchets just for fun to work with different types/designs so it´s not too boring :)
