nice box !

Here are some comparison shots of the new Hazet 863-1 fine tooth 1/4" ratchet and the 863F:

nice ! Thanks for the pics !

Here's a Bahco 80 tooth ratchet made in Spain. Its internals are the same as a Snap on F80. Nice handle.

sweet ratchet !!!

Hi, Monte, I want to know: FELO, WIHA, WERA screwdriver three brands in Germany and Europe, which brand's reputation or the quality is better, what your opinion of these three brands. Only on the screwdriver, thank you.:)

I don´t know :) Similar i guess. Some say this and some say that :)
You can´t go wrong with any of them, it´s a matter of personal taste i think. Same like Audi, BMW or Mercedes :) I would buy the screwdrivers which fits the best in your hands. Oh and don´t forget Witte screwdrivers :)

How do we know it is made in Spain?

The package says "Made in Spain"

@Monte:
I sent you a PM the other day, just wondering if you've received it? [figured I might get your attention through this thread!!]
Thanks!

yes :)
sorry very little spare time...

According to my source, a ******** Japanese tool enthusiast, he was told by a Snap-On rep that he spoke with at a Japanese trade show.

No clue as to the OEM of the internals.

Monte,

That Peugot chisel is just PIMP!

Nice charger:thumbup:
How much ?

Klann hose pliers.

Hello,
I've seen these from HAZET and some other suppliers as well, rumours has it that it is an Ozzy Patent, who's the original supplyer, pls enlighten me though.
THX in advance

P.S.: maybe s.o. should start a thread with all the 'branded goods', finding out who's the original supplier and where to buy them best for the smallest buck at similar quality.

Got a bearing for my AEG grinder that I mentioned earlier and it is up and running again. Now I need to have a look at its little brother, the 601. No power at all. :(

do you have pics of the 601 ?

*snip*

Here ya go. And it's working now.

I pulled out the multi-meter and found that the switch was ok but there was no current between the brushes so I took them out and sanded them but still no go. As I took them out again I noticed one of the brushes was 'stuck' and wouldn't move freely in the very last part of the channel and just didn't make contact with the rotor. Visually it looked ok and putting pressure on it didn't help to make contact either so I was a bit :wtf:

Sanding off the sides of the brush a little bit made it move freely all the way and voilà, we had contact.

No tools required to change blade, led headlight :) and of course transformer design. It is actually a toaster during the night! :D

On "sale" locally for ~$200 (20% off)
Blue Bosch from China is ~$260
Blue Bosch from Swiss is ~$400+
My money was spent on the label "made in Japan" :headscrat

Thanks, when you mention it I think you are right this is more alien than transformers design. Perhaps I should keep it in the freezer during the night. :headscrat

Ps, not sure about the performance, I already tested it and still got all my fingers intact! :D

nice grinder ! 25 years and still working (now again... :) ) ....sounds good !!
Now i have to look for NOS black AEG tools :)
*snip*
I bought it new in 86 or 87. The WSA 1801 was bought new by my dad and is even older. Same place I recently bought my cordless Milwaukee tools. They went from AEG to Atlas Copco to Milwaukee as one bought the other.

Luring you on to NOS black AEG is my revenge for you having me lust after Flex and Suhner and whatnot. :pimpflash

(Though it only makes sense to buy a grinder that fills the void between 600W and 1800W no?)

I think I'll get some Gorilla tape for test.
