It's nice to see at least those are still made in Switzerland. Based on the reviews I have read and such, Bosch still makes the best jigsaws on the market.. at least of all those which are priced reasonably anyway.
Oh yeah and FYI sears has better prices on Knipex than Lowes.
The fact it was made in Switzerland was actually why I got one. A long time ago(around when I signed up) I was at Sears shopping for jigsaw blades for my dad's Black & Decker. I seen they were Swiss made so I got a pack unfortunately(or fortunately really...) they were T shank and the B&D used the other type. So I go looking for a jigsaw on Amazon and see a Bosch barrel grip and I read the reviews and someone mentioned it was made in Switzerland which blew my mind(I thought everything but Festool and Fein was made in Mexico or China) as it was at a price I could afford. Later I see the 1590 EVSK at Lowes and I ended up getting it and a ton of other Swiss and German made Bosch tools later on.
Yeah I get the Knipex on sale at Sears otherwise I go to Lowes as I get a 10% military discount.
....but in hindsight, I think PB was smart. They actually placed a design on the striking surface to intentionally discourage users from striking it, and thereby lengthening the useable life of the screwdriver.

I can also order Fein & Flex but if it breaks down needs to be shiped to Oslo or somewhere in Sweden and you lucky if you get it back in two weeks
