@american lockpicker:
since you are so interested in finnish products (?) here a work shoe/boots manufacturer from finland for you :) www.jalas.fi

These are one I am curently using:
http://www.jalas.fi/index.php?do=productpage&row=138118&page_id=159&
3130.jpg

Those where most ligth ones they had in shop and they feel like sneakers, but you drop engine block on them, without loosing your toe.
Most important thing is the grip as we have this winter here you need shoes that holds over ice, (there for over any surface), this mechanical grip is often overlook buy other manufacturers, but in work environment that is very important.

Fiskars siccors are so common here, everyone got pair or two, it is hard to find other brand siccors.

nice Gedore + Wurth tool haul !!!!!!:bowdown:

Thanks. :)

Interresting Japanese driver:thumbup: Where did you buy it ? How much ?

These screwdrivers are very popular here in Greece. You can find them almost anywhere.
They are not expensive at all. I got it for only 4 euros. But I had discount.
However, I don't believe that it cost more than 6 EUR. Not bad at all for a slotted screwdriver with 10χ250mm blade and impact cap. You can see some prices in this Greek site which have the lower prices that I found online.

Nice set of pliers (The needle nose pliers especially ) lok (and screwdrivers of course) :)
Thanks jalfaro. Yes the nose plier are very good and it is in the Gedore magic catalog, in offer with cable connectors.

Ahh Festools. Thanks god is almost impossible to find it here in Greece. :bounce: :lol_hitti

How strange, on amazon too, no information related to the brand or COO

On the other hand, I see some variations in images from other sites

Arguably the tools market from the USA has lost booming, while from Europe remains stable as it focuses on a sector with greater knowledge and quality estimates.
Thanks for the insight on your tool market !! Do you have pics of tool stores or where you go shopping ? :)

These are one I am curently using:
I was surprised to see finnish work shoes in a store here, they look good, but a bit pricey it seems.
iiiiihhhh shoes with velcro :( :)

Yes I'm interested in Finnish products. :) I wonder if I can get a pair here?
Probably easier to make holidays in finland and find them there :D
Still made in France?
i hope so :)

Yes thats right. Good eye Monte! Unfortunately the other photo came out very blurry.

china

The german ones have a "Germany" or "Solingen" stamped into the metal, the imported not. The german ones are made of stamped steel and a bright finish (you can still see the burrs from stamping out the metal) while the imported ones have a ground finish and are ground on top and the sides too (german ones not)
More blurry photos.
nice Gedore sockets

A forklift to haul tools around ? :shocking: Damn i want that too !!!!! :pimpflash :D

In my city can be counted perhaps one or two shops that are worth it. Although I really would like to post some pictures of CAPRIS, which is a large store located in the capital (San José) of Costa Rica to a 90 km away from where I live, therefore, in the next, surely I'll take some pictures.

I love this store because it offers a Variety of tools (industry, construction, automotive). It also offers the brand HAZET

For now, attached some links to your Website:

I wonder if Finland is still like this?
LOL! Well, most of the country outside "bigger" cities is like backwoods alaska (no insult intended to Alaskans) so it might be. We have something like 17 people per 1km2 (UK 255/km2, Germany 229/km2) so who knows what is out there. ;)

I am sure post works both ways. Don't know if its economical though. I am currently expecting a 71kgs package of tools, 35kgs of car parts and bunch of other stuff from USA. Takes 3 days to a week by air.

That reminds me of something I found the other day...

Curious american lockpicker, for many years I see Gorilla Glue advertising in the Popular Mechanics magazine and always assumed it was a product of USA (or manufactured in USA), something completely new to me

Monte I hate you. And if I could afford to buy it, I probably will hated you more. My corded drill are now broken and I need a new one.

Whenever I looked to see what is available on the market and in what price I not found in any shop festool. From the link i saw that there are two in my town.
But the truth is that I don't need a professional tool because I don't use it very often. I believe that festool are one of the best out there but is too much for me.

The more likely is to go with a green bosch. I have not decided yet corded or cordless though.

where is that garage ? I see some tools i need :D

when you will come to Greece, will go together. :D

All mine are made in Denmark. :)

No it used to be made in Denmark then production of the glue was sent here(Ohio I think) and the tape has always been made here AFAIK. When it started being made here I bought up some of the older glue as it works well and I didn't want to take a risk that the newer stuff was made differently and not as good.

Those photos from fairs and shops are salt of this thread, keep them coming. :3gears:

ok, see below :)

Monte I hate you. And if I could afford to buy it, I probably will hated you more. My corded drill are now broken and I need a new one.

:) Festool has a nice cordless one for only €560 :D ;)

But the truth is that I don't need a professional tool because I don't use it very often. I believe that festool are one of the best out there but is too much for me.

yeah only make sense if you need that tool daily or if you are a semi-professional etc. for DIY use Bosch green will be just fine, what i wouldn´t buy are the 10 or 20 Euro tools or Einhell etc.

The more likely is to go with a green bosch. I have not decided yet corded or cordless though.

if your corded is broken....:) ? ok depends on what you do...
Green Bosch should work ok , in DIY magazine tests Bosch usually wins or is on top of the list, if you have no cordless drill and no corded then i would take a 2 speed impact drill, the standard drill of every german household :)

when you will come to Greece, will go together. :D

ok  :D

Hopefully the glue still works after 5 years :)

Of course Monte, I promise to take pictures as soon go to the store
