hole saw = these things click

and step drill bits = click
Thanks Monte.

The drills with only 1 gear and high speed/rpm have low torque, so i don´t know if you can use these tools above. (if you need them...)

No I don't need these tools. I use it mostly for drilling and screwing. So I need at least the speed control and forward/reverse rotation for the screwing. Yes I know about the higher torque from drills with 2 gears and this is what worries me more. Can I screw with one who has speed control but not a second gear? I suppose for small screws will be ok. Is that correct?
Those which haven't second gear but have speed control in the trigger, at low speeds have the same torque as the higher speeds?

So far for drilling I used my old one and for screwing the two gears cordless of my brother as my own hadn't speed control.

Btw the new screwdriver of my brother.

I wish yuo could still find these, but no, you could say these are NOS stuff, but these are just tools that had little or no use for last 25-years.
Like these:
Beta "42" Combination wrenches
Here is comparison for new "MP" serrie

Picture not working?

Note that old days there where no 12mm wrench included in standard set. I have try to figure this out, but when I search old bolt around house, I found few 11mm bolts here and there, but 12mm bolts where rare. This must be due to fact that SAE bolts where bit more common then Japanise cars that commonly use 12mm wrenches.
That right! if you owned Japanese car you cannot found a 11mm, 13mm, 15mm, 16mm, 18mm, and so on..they only used a 10mm, 12mm, 14mm 17mm, 19mm 21mm and bla bla...

i think most popular is the 125mm/5" size. The german manufacturers have 4.5" grinders too, but often they only sell 1 or 2 models in 4.5" and like 10 models in 5". In most cases the 4.5" grinder is identical to the 5" version (same motor/housing/gear case etc.) so i guess the customer buys the 5" version (at he same price) so you can use either the 4.5" or 5" discs and you have a higher cutting depth with the 5" disc. With a 4.5" grinder you are limited to 4.5" discs.... The price of 5" discs is a few cents higher though.
In asia i think the customer prefers 4.5" and often you see 4" grinders too ?
You right...I never saw a 4.5" disc here, only 4" , 6" and...in the tools shop.. look like only me used a 5" disc grinder here, It not easy for me to find a 5" disc for my lovely Bosch:D

4" almost every hardware stock it:sad:

5" only a tools shop stock it

Rusik, you could tell me what is your opinion about the brand FORCE?

In the Costa Rican market has wide penetration, in fact I have many tools FORCE (and I can say that's not the best but not the worst, does offer good performance and durability under hard work), and sometimes when I see brand information on the Internet, searches lead me to many places in Russia (at least I think) so I have the idea that in your country there is some market for this brand

@cliceu I seem to remember some company makes laser levels that are actually made in USA.

Pacific Laser Systems?

I've had a PLS2E for a few years now and its a cracking little laser level.
Looking on the site I think its been superseded by the PLS180.
Mines got the detector so I can use it even when I can't see the laser line with my eyes.

António, Kraftwerk tools are made in China, Taiwan, any tool box made by LISTA in switzerland and High tech plier made by NWS (germany)

I am interested in buy socket set 1/2 & 1/4 for my godparent. The problem is that he is a trucker and may make intensive use of the tool.

Is it a good choice?

WOW really nice tools !!! muy bien :)
The fine tooth ratchets look really nice !!!:drool::drool:

Lower speed means less torque when you have a drill with single gear. But for smaller screws the drill should just work fine and for drilling into steel up to 10mm

Btw the new screwdriver of my brother.

nice ! So your brother likes tools too ? Where is he ?? :D

You right...I never saw a 4.5" disc here, only 4" , 6" and...in the tools shop.. look like only me used a 5" disc grinder here, It not easy for me to find a 5" disc for my lovely Bosch:D

Are these 4" discs or is your tape measure printed wrong ? :D ;)
Never saw 4", and interesting to see Bosch discs from the Phillipines

The tool of this brand is known in Russia for more than 10 years. This tool is of average quality in Taiwan. No way. The main direction - auto repair. But now we have got a lot of similar brands. For example Jonnesway. It did not live lavishly, and its production are long gone. The prices of all imported very overpriced. Therefore, such a tool - a way out.

I have many tools to FORCE. Later I will make pictures. We now have -30 degrees below zero and go to the garage difficult.

Nothing wrong with Kraftwerk socket sets. Even used professionally by some, with good results.

My brother always had better power tools than me. I usually take the old tools of my brother. But I had better hand tool than him. :D

Where are the pics ? :D ;)

Made in japan the tool

Heller, Germany and IBC, Stuttgart ???

H & K could be Hahn & Kolb , a tool wholesaler: www.hahn-kolb.de

There are/were several "Heller" companies, maybe the pliers came together with a machine tool from www.heller.biz , or it was a manufacturer in east germany which merged with other companies , or just a tool dealer ? Or Heller the drill bit company, maybe they once made hand tools too ?

Saw this at HD for 14$! I think they're dropping them : / lame. but at least I got one. Fantastic quality. Thank you Channellock for bringing some Irega around here :D Yes, I know, my cell phone pictures are rather counterintuitive compared to all of your high definition camera pictures, but it's the best I can do. Don't mind the Wolverine box :)

To jalfaro: Here's a look at the wrenches on the FORCE
View media item 12254

I appreciate your opinion Rusik (do not worry about the photos, over the week I saw the news about the cold wave in many parts of Europe), in fact I have several tools of this brand, including these wrenches, as soon as possible I'll post some pictures.

Nice ratchet! I want one!

Beautiful knives also!

btw.: i have this 2"/50mm angle grinder/sander :)

Is it 6mm shaft attachment or is it M-thread like ordinary angle grinders?

Now by the end of the month I had a bit more money than I thought I would have. So what do you do then? BUY TOOLS!

I'm not going to post much of them though, since it's mostly stuff that has already been posted (got the 1/2" Facom sealed head, some more 440s, more Gedore 7R sizes, some sockets and such)

This one is nice (and post worthy) I think though:

THOR Copper/Rawhide hammer (size 2).

Now I'm going to try to restrain myself for a while, hadn't planned on starting the year with a big tool purchase...
