Following from my new Gedore stuff.. had some new screwdrivers come in.
Still waiting on some sockets, hammers and circlip pliers.
Nice!

MrTool,
I was putting down a floor, needed it right away. For that price point, the other options were all chinese made of unknown brands. But it works well.

Here's my complete Campagnolo tool kit in the original wood box. I picked it up NOS on ebay for a song. I build custom bicycle frames, so the cutting tools are put to good use. Impeccable build quality on this kit, much better than my most recent tools from Park.
Welcome to the board keep pics coming..:beer:

You wellcome mrtools. :)
I had 10 days off from work and I was out of town. ;)
Nice holiday!..calms water, white sand and a **** girl...

I just took some photos of some of my KNIPEX pliers. The plastic VDE pliers 98 62 02:
It's truly Germany made..
I owned the old model plastic VDE pliers but no Germany.
KNIPEX 71 12 200, 74 06 180 & 86 05 250.
"GERMANY" is stamped directly onto the metal.
On my Lineman's Pliers 09 12 240 & X-Cut 73 06 160 "Made In Germany" is stamped onto the plastic insulation of the handles.
Awesome! thanks for the pics:thumbup:

The NWS's cutting edges really are sharper than the KNIPEX, but I like KNIPEX pliers better. :)
The others screws - PH-slotted are famous in low-voltage installations.
That right!

The ratchet is very smooth, feel little like the rapidaptor.
The wobbeling/ amount of play is not bother me at all.
Thanks to share your personal opinions.
This package I bought to take with me in the car for example.
It takes very little space and you bring 12 different screwdrivers.
Sure, I like regular screwdrivers better but this package is easy to take with them on the fly.
It would be ideal to have with you if you ride a motorcycle for example:thumbup:
that why I love multi blade screwdriver

This is an experiment to see if I have finally figured out how to post photos.
Here's what was left on the bench today.I apologize if you may have seen similar tools in my previous posts, but I commonly use these tools, so they keep coming up over and over. :wtf:
Great pics!
I think it ok..we all love pics:eyecrazy:
I'm sending the same pics too but in difference situation:D

:drool::drool:

Tools in use...
First I did try out one of those American tools with nice Biltema (made in china or Taiwan) 6mm hex on that, nope... Snap on ratchet just jump over some thooth and become a museum artifact or hammer... Biltema socket and Toyota win.
nice pics and tools:drool:
what happened to SO ratchet? Is it OK?:D:D

my new drill bit box, friend gave it to me,its made in west germany, brand is some "perg" i think..
painted with motip dupli color primer
red oil based dupli deco, and oil based deco matt clear coat
right now its filled with wurth HSS drill bits and some ruko hss-g/hss-co
Congratulation! very nice restoration project It looks like new with powder coat finish:eyecrazy:

Stahlwille wrenches =
Knipex + NWS pliers =

Old VAR 430 snap-ring pliers I bought used in the 80's:
:drool::drool: still in working condition?

Picked up some really cheap knipex off eBay.
nice score!!

Nice!

At first glance the X-Cut look pretty ugly, especially with that pivot joint a bit off the center of the jaws. But when you start cutting with the pliers ... they just work great!

You can't go wrong with Knipex.
I've got some NWS circlip pliers also. Top-notch stuff. I've always felt
Stahlwille is not as good as Hazet somehow. In some intangible way.
But if you really want to go gaga, just handle some antique Plomb. Wow.

Very nice. What sockets do you decide to buy?

I was looking very closely at the Koken sockets. But couldn't source them easily enough for a good price, and with the option of buying individual sockets i wanted easily.
So decided to just continue the Gedore theme with their 6pt range. Eurafco gave excellent service, website was easy for me to use (being a German site with english translation), could buy individual items, decent pricing and shipping so just went that way.

Campagnolo also makes the world's greatest wine bottle opener. It stands about 14" tall and comes in a wood crate. I'd say the bottle opener gets the most use of all!

SWEET campy set. something from the old world

New Gedore composite ratchets
1993U-10K and 3093U-10K

P1000168-1.jpg

P1000167-1-1.jpg

P1000166-1.jpg

And new to me Facom ratchets. Some need service; from what I've read here, service kits are available. Aren't some MAC kits interchangeable?

P1000164-1.jpg

A Facom R.161 servicing a Snap-On TL72. It's ok, they later switched positions, the TL72 even shared the lube.

Off of Ebay UK by any chance? How are the Gedore?

Yes defo from UK Ebay!

Britool, Facom, Mac and SK all seem to have some ratchet repair kits that are interchangeable.

Amazing- I wouldn't have guessed it would be very economical with the shipping. The guys selling the Gedore stuff out of Skipton are good to deal with.

Old tool from the old world. This came up on ebay recently. It sold for £5, but was too far for me to collect (although I never would have considered it before joining this forum!):

Hi all,

first post on these boards, although I've been a long time lurker.

Found this in a skip in Belgium, never seen this brand before - or since.

2zi4yoi.jpg

La Croyere seems to be a place near the - former - industrial centre of La Louviere.

From a different part of the Old World Postman Pat put this through the letterbox this morning:

11w367p.jpg

These seem to be well regarded here at their price point. Going to crack it open first though as it sounds like it's completely devoid of lubricant.

Then I went to the local Toyota dealer to pick up some parts and this Toyota screwdriver

jrwn7k.jpg

A Megadora Teng-Thru P.2 x 100 for £ 6.92, best price I've found for them - and it only takes 1 day of patience. :)

Ebay UK indeed. Had them shipped to a friend in UK, then the package was shipped to me. The Gedores are very nice. They came directly from Gedore, according to receipts.

Yep that ebay seller is "Gedore UK". I've bought one or two items from them in the past.

I received a Hazet/Gedore order yesterday and included was a 190L.

Quality of plastic is very good and believe its made in Germany. TBS Aachen is a good place to purchase Hazet products.

It is quite a large box however a good setup and great box for on the move.IMG_0253.jpg

very cool, didn't realise you could still get them from toyota, guess thats the part number there? is that a japanese industry standard one?

i know they used to sell toyota branded JIS vessel ones, not sure if they still do or not, still need to get my hands on a decent set of JIS drivers, shame there seemingly quite rare, and none of the big european or american brands seem to make any to my knowledge despite JIS screws being everywhere
