Picked up this monster Meddings pillar drill today. Weights about as much as a Rolls Royce. 5spd, plus a dual-range gearbox so 10 speeds total from 80-4000rpm.
awesome drill :eyecrazy: :eyecrazy: :eyecrazy::drool:

Too bad Knipex doesn't make a calendar. Or a old world one with different brands. I would love to get the wera ones though.

a calendar with 24 Knipex pliers: retail price 480.- $ :D

btw. all Wera calendars are sold out :) https://twitter.com/WeraWerk

I just got a package in straight from the old world (by way of Jens): a couple of Schmitz pliers and some Wiha goodies that the US importer doesn't bother with.

After reading PrecisionTool's review of the Schmitz stuff, I decided I had to give it a try. I've got the partial-flush triangular tip side cutters and the serrated-jaw chain nose pliers. I'll post impressions once I've beat on them a bit.

The Wiha stuff consists of 3 obscure sizes of PicoFinish nutdriver (1.8, 3.2 and 7.0), the soft-handled T-handle with a holder in the side (so you can use the main stem to get more torque), some small XZN keys and some super-long slotted, phillips and pozi drivers. The shafts may look bent in the picture, but that's just my cheap camera -- they are all straight as an arrow, even the tiny 3.0x300!

It always bugs me that Wiha doesn't import their entire line to the US.
