Let's see some old Gedore, well... old Gedore ratchet here is for comprison for REALLY old Gedore ratchet, both model "1993" and that is ot year stamp
nice piecessssssssssss..thanks to shared:thumbup:

And something made in Sweden, for balance all this German and Italian tools.
My Arboga grinder
awesome the machine looks very tough:thumbup:

Great photos Mr. Tools! :beer:But your newly finished carrying case steals the show!
Thanks buddy, but I'm planning to replace it with the big brother :)

yeah the Gedore boxes are nice. The color is beautiful :) But i think the other boxes are nice too and the tools inside of the boy are also more important because the tools get the job done and not the box :) So maybe the box doesn´t have to be from Gedore but maybe the tools inside like the Gedore ratcheting wrenches ;)
You right buddy!!!!
I need to add more Gedore tools right!!!

the Tone box looks good too
maybe it suitable for me:bounce:
I love green

KTC boxes....:
this KTC looks too smart for me :D

Wera calendar news from today and yesterday:
Famag wood drill bits www.Famag.de
nice:drool:

The gedore is the best that I have seen so far. But the price as you mention is prohibitive.
right gedore is good if we can get the better price
:D
One Elora that I had wasn't any special. Wasn't made in Germany.
The Hazet looks really very nice but the price here in Greece wasn't that good. .
I think the Hazet price is OK but the shipping..:shocking: :shocking:

The Facom looks good and the price is reasonable but is exactly the same with others cheaper than that.
The Pastorino (yea right, the brand was in a sticker) that I bought hasn't something special but it can do the job at half the price of Facom. I've overloaded it for a year now and hold up well. The quality seems to be the same with the other made in (Taiwan?). Downside, the sidewall needs attention to transportation (like all long ones Ι suppose). For a price close to 35 euro, it is really good.
Facom look like the other non branded boxs..
I believed you owned the good one..I can see in the pics it nice:thumbup:
btw: thank you very much for your opinion and an advise, I'm really appreciated that

Here is some older pics.
that a nice shottttt!!!!

The Unior toolboxes are nice too. And the price is reasonable. I don't know how difficult is to find them though. The only issue was that it was a little tight to open and close probably because it was new. I try it at the store. It looks a little better to me than the others (excluded the gedore) but I can't be sure.
It's looks very good..great colour too, powder coat?

So if you can't buy the one that you like the most get the better that can do the job, for the lowest price (and in the color that you like :lol_hitti).
:) :bounce:

How much you can find the tone or toyo?
Here the prices + Shipping (Malaysia):headscrat
Tone 2215 = Euro 130
Toyo GT-470 = Euro 121,25
Stahlwille 8105 = Euro 85
Facom BT.13A = Euro 77,25
Hazet 190L = Euro 96
Gedore 1335L = Euro 170

A tool from work.
The beast!!!
Awesome samurai air tools!!!

Hello guys!
I'm new here and I want to share some tools with you.

img1431y.jpg

img1432ds.jpg

Hazet Hinox 854X (stainless steel) and Gedore 1919-90
The Gedore offers the best value for money.

img1433o.jpg

1/4" Hazet 836-1, 3/8" Stahlwille 422, 1/2" Hazet 916-1
All fine-tooth ratchets.

img1435p.jpg

Sandvik-Belzer No.2 box-end wrenches in 10x13, 13x17, 17x19.

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/825/img1436ze.jpg/
Straight box end wrenches.
Belzer No.4 10x11, 16x17, 18x19 and Stahlwille 21 8x10, 12x13.

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/171/img1437j.jpg/
Stahlwille 24 open-box wrench next to Bahco 111M 13 and 1952M 13.
I use those Bahcos because they have a very small mouth.
The Stahlwille is good for brake lines and turning lights on motorcycles.

Wera 3950/PKL Allen keys (stainless steel)
They look good and work well but I got very old Holex ones and these work even better. With the Holex I had no cam out even when using the ball end.

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/51/img1441a.jpg/
Stahlwille 52 10mm, 13mm, 17mm and Hazet 900 8mm.
I bought the Hazet because the Gedore set lacks 8mm and with the Stahlwille, well, you can't have enough in these sizes.

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/17/img1444rs.jpg/
Hex sockets.
1/4" Snap-On TMABM5E 5mm, 3/8" Stahlwille 49 5mm, 1/2" BTW 24mm.
The Snap-On isn't as good as it looks. I use 5mm quite often as you find them on motorcycles and this socket isn't ideal due to high cam out.

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/689/img1445ha.jpg/
Hazet 1/2": 990Lg 12mm, 917-3, 917-1.
You can't live without them!

Went to Obi today, did not realized that the high end Obi Lux pliers were all made by NWS. They even have their graphic pattern grips. And they were 15% off with obi coupons. I might have to get the VDE wasser plier.

Thanks! Looks like it made some hard work very easy (dispite some igniting issues). With a grinder or hacksaw you could not make such nice curves. Like it! :rocker:

yeah a plasma cutter is great, not so noisy as a angle grinder, you don´t need to buy oxygen or acetylen, you can cut all types of metals, and you can cut parts which are difficult to do with other tools. And the cheapo plasmas are available for about € 150.- to 170.- on ebay....The cheapest model from Hyperterm cost € 2500.- in Germany.... I don´t want to live without it anymore :)

What a surprise i got in the mail today:

How cool isn´t that.....? The price for the Umbrella is 39 Euro or 51 USD.

Wera forever!

cool ! Do you have a real pic of the umbrella ?

You right buddy!!!!

the only thing they left out of the umbralla is a wind escape like on golf umbrellas. That would be the only other thing that would have made the it prefect.

Hi Liviunae, welcome the this forum. But err... shouldn´t there be some kind of safety shield on that grinder?? :eyecrazy: I have experienced more than one disc splitting into pieces while cutting in my car...

If you make stuff strong enough, there´s really no need for overload protection...that goes for tools as well for umbrellas ...

it is physics you need the wind to have an escape to prevent the umbrella form inverting or to have the wind pull it out of your hand. ;)

He guys,
does anyone know where these Bahcos are made?

http://imageshack.us/f/171/img1437j.jpg/

Kind regards

The one highest up are made in Argentina and IMO it is one of the nicest ones you can get.... The model is called 1952M. For a couple of years ago they were even better. That was when Sandvik/Belzer had a collaboration for this model.

The one in middle is a cheaper one, i dont know COO. Argentina?

The Stahlwille one is still made in Germany i think.

Yes Roverbo, you`re right, the disc can split,(never happened to me) but if you wear protective gear(head mask, coverall, boots),it won`t be a problem.

here is another tool,my micrometer, not sure were it was made

I must have been put on the naughty list this year.

Elora 14 Piece Af set up 1 1/4:

SSA52704_zps9c6cf132.jpg

The Elora don't have the same attention do detail as my metric Hazet set, but for the price I can't complain. They also seem to use a brighter chrome thesedays, which isn't as nice as their old dull finish.

Bahco files (made in portugal), teng AF hex bit sockets, Knipex CoBalt and NWS Fantastico:

Has anyone noticed, allot of the Green Bosch are now made in Hungary. I was picking up some stuff at Globus, and were checking out the Kress and some of the Bosch tool. More of them were made in Hungary then in China, and there were some form Germany and Switzerland.

What´s even worse, is that most of the blue "pro-tools" are made in PRC.
From Bosch China website: (www.bosch.com.cn)
"Bosch Power Tools (China) Co., Ltd.
Bosch Power Tools is the leading supplier of portable electric power tools and accessories, committed to high standards in quality, technical innovation and after-sales service. It has three brands, Bosch, Skil, and Dremel, and 5 product segments: portable power tools, benchtop, measuring tools, lawn and garden and accessories.

Bosch Power Tools established its joint-venture in Hangzhou in 1995 and became a wholly foreign-invested enterprise of Bosch in 2003. Bosch Power Tools (China) Co., Ltd. now occupies 140,000 square meters and includes Bosch, Skil and Accessories manufacturing, Bosch Power Tools China Sales & Marketing Center, an Asia Pacific R&D Center, an Asia Pacific Logistic Center, an Asia Pacific Product Training Center, and Global Purchasing and Quality Offices. Now the company has become the most important power tools location within Bosch worldwide."

I have worked with the blue tools, and there is nothing to complain about. Still, i would have prefered "Made in Germany"...:headscrat

price usually starts at 49,95 ....
Germany ? i think the PWS 13-125 (with blue DNA) and the large angle grinder are still made here as well as some rotary hammers. Switzerland ? old belt sander.... ?
Most is offshore but the price reflects it.

I gots me some old world tools from a member here in a trade.

what ever you traded it was a good trade :) ;)

..."most".... ?
angle grinders small + large mostly from Germany some entry level tools (like 3 models) are from china + russia.... belt sanders = swiss, rotary hammers mostly german, percussion + normal drills mostly swiss with lower priced imports from china + malaysia, higher end orbital + sheet sanders are still swiss, drywall guns swiss, impact gun german, most jig saws swiss, ok some china circular saws but also swiss ones, malaysian multi tool but also swiss multi tool....etc. etc.... so i wouldn´t say "most" , let´s say many :D ....if you talk about cordless tools.....ok... :)

the green jigsaws and some of the sanders were swiss and german. But the vast majority were Hungarian.

Went and picked up this bonding agent for fits some small stuff around the house. Only seen this stuff at bauhaus.

The global Bosch :D

Yeah pretty much global bosch. With my saw I am glad the 18v jigsaw is made in Switzerland and that my big hammer drill is swiss as well. The drills are malaysian, and the sawsaw and circular saw are chinese.

The 12v stuff are either malaysian or mexico. And the dremmel is mexico as well.

The green bosch is swiss or german. I forgot, I should check. But it is a very good low price drill when I brought it 12 years ago. Been super impress with bosch after buying it, and when it was time to replace my dewalts, I switch to bosch. Metabo grinder is just so smooth and german.
