Elora 14 Piece Af set up 1 1/4:

SSA52704_zps9c6cf132.jpg

The Elora don't have the same attention do detail as my metric Hazet set, but for the price I can't complain. They also seem to use a brighter chrome thesedays, which isn't as nice as their old dull finish.

Bahco files (made in portugal), teng AF hex bit sockets, Knipex CoBalt and NWS Fantastico:

SSA52711_zpsa641951e.jpg
Your Elora wrenches are lovely. From the pics the chrome reminds me the Hazet.
Your opinion about NWS vs Knipex? I have the NWS but i would like to hear from you who have both of them!:)

Welcome!!!
nice HIT wrench, does any Japan write on the wrench?

Some help with a Wera driver

Can any of you Wera fans help me out with this? I picked up this ratcheting (gearless) handle at a garage sale last weekend. It did not come with bits or a bit holder. It wont quite accept a standard bit and I cannot seem to match it to any current Wera offerings. I would love to put it work. Thanks.

Rusty Musket,

Cool find! ...with the older Wera logo. Seeing those thin spots on the handle kinda makes it look like someone tried to fit a Wera handle onto an existing mechanism. ....but Wera has offered a gearless screwdriver so....

If a standard 1/4" bit doesn't fit, it's because Wera uses 6mm bits for them (I wish they didn't!)
To make it functional you'll have to get the bits from their Vario series.

Thank you!

Rahsol/Gedore No.1's and No.9's
Cheap as hell (all of them for under 30 Euros) and reliable. Finish could be better, but they do their job very well.

Does someone know if the Facom open box wrenches no. 42 are still made in France?

That hungarian bosch looks like the blue bosch 12v drill. Wonder if they have the same DNA as the blue bosch.

i looked at the parts list and they don´t share any parts

Is there a connection between Belzer and Knipex or did they only collect the sign ?

Nope, no connection. Ralf Putsch, the president, is a great tool enthusiast himself and strives to preserve Wuppertal's history in tool-making. The museum was created to showcase the working conditions people used to experience, what equipment people used to create and operate, and the myriad of tools that were made in that region.

Maybe that Belzer sign was salvaged before the factory was shut down, after Bahco-Belzer was bought out by Snap-on. It's really a shame that it went down--the only company in Germany that produced brilliant shiny chrome tools.

It's impressive to know that Knipex's museum was not created to generate any capital. I'd love to go there, but it seems like it's open only to school children's fieldtrips. :D

Here's something you guys won't find anywhere else in the world, but in Japan.

A collaboration between Deen and Wera.

I know I've posted this before once...here's a super limited edition one. The colour scheme was based on Wuppertal's own soccer team, Borrusia Dortmund, which had a Japanese player:

In the past, a store in Japan called Factory Gear did a collaboration with PB Swiss. Note the hex shaft, which is unusual.

It´s really light and smooth, don´t know the weight, i want some rain now.... :willy_nil

Yeah pretty much global bosch. With my saw I am glad the 18v jigsaw is made in Switzerland and that my big hammer drill is swiss as well. The drills are malaysian, and the sawsaw and circular saw are chinese.
The 12v stuff are either malaysian or mexico. And the dremmel is mexico as well.
The green bosch is swiss or german. I forgot, I should check. But it is a very good low price drill when I brought it 12 years ago. Been super impress with bosch after buying it, and when it was time to replace my dewalts, I switch to bosch. Metabo grinder is just so smooth and german.

:)
nowadays Bosch like others big company, they move their production line to Asia to reduced operation cost like manpower and materials, the newer Bosch I used today not as good as the old Germany made Bosch that I bought 10 years ago.

sorry I don't know. :dunno:
It’s ok

Olfa medium duty.
everybody know Olfa make a very good cutters:thumbup:

I can find the gedore for 140 euro but it's still expensive. The Tone and Toyo are also expensive as I expected.
Same price for the facom here in Greece without shipping.
Thanks mr tools.
you right they still expensive...!!!
Don't know the actual price for the TONE, the size is small than TOYO I mean 6cm shorter, they just qoute the item price + shipping = 130 euro and for the TOYO the price is 71,31 euro and the shipping is 37,50 euro. For your information the TOYO also rebranded as TRUSCO, they have the same shape and color, I'm not sure if they comes from the same factory.

We are waiting. I hope not to waiting to much. ..
Ok I can not wait any longer. :tantrum2:
Sorry...you have to wait longer to see my new box, the box I received not the actual item I order, but I think this is a good pics to introduce my real box, (see below) same model (GT-470) but difference name, maybe the box comes from the same manufacturer but with difference name TRUSCO :D
now I’m waiting my real box and arrange to send back the TRUSCO.

So which brand did you choose? :)
See below :D same shape and color but…. wait and see:D

it seems the colour comes from the diamond coating. The complete bit is coated with diamond particles. The black sleeve is a "shrink tubing" (or just a plastic sleeve)

Picked up these 5 assorted size NOS piston pin pullers on ebay for what I think is a very reasonable price. Made in Italy.
