I dug out my wife's grand fathers old african teak level. Clean it up and oil it. I think I will be using it allot as it is longer then my torpedo levels This level is from the late 1950 and early 1960's. He used it to build the house my wife's parents lives in.

It should be better

That wooden handle adjustable wrench looks special, what brand is it?

it seems it falls off the same production line..... :) The WGB set was cheaper though, only 29.-€ the offline Proxxon store here wanted 43,50 :)

That is a good price.

I also own the hazet blue version and I think its produced in the same factory. The only difference I noticed is that its black and 3 euros cheaper :D. I have to put them side by side today.

Where did you get it, and what brand is it?

Nice purchase! I like mine. It seems they have changed something though, I could remove the badges and they left nothing. You seem to have some holes after the badge? Also, I would recommend mounting a handle on the lid, much easier to open/close then.

Good tool collection also, Much Bahco/Belzer, Wera and Knipex. I would put those Moras in their sheaths though. What do you do with them? Car hobbyist?

Yes I saw your solution to the problem, it will be something similar. Then I realized that i should open the lid before i pulled out the drawers. It was so hard otherwise....:lol_hitti
Regarding the holes i have to find some cool stickers.....

right now I will find a new project in the spring. Maybe a dune buggy?

Yup.I work for Trumpf Photonics ,a division in NJ.
I machine the copper optics for the lasers.
Trumpf is the worlds largest machine tool manufacturer.

I dont have any pics at home, but will see what I can do next week when I go back.
some pics would be cool ! (if you are allowed to....)

It was rebranded as a tool of the dealer I bought it of so I dont really know but the system it creates the flair is way better in my opinion. With the chinese stuff its pretty easy to create a flair that althought it seals right looks a bit strange and I have a bad feeling with it.
do you have a larger pic of the tool ?

Here we have it James bond creates tools in his spare time.

These do work so much easier and hassle-free, just make your flares slowly but steadfastly and use a tiny bit of glycol grease - or brake fluid - on the tip of the punch.
thanks for the hint !

which Pica Marker do you like better ?
In great Schlumpf/Smurf blue.
or Hazet blue ;)

I paid for it about 400$.:withstupi

What exactly? "Idstein Germany"?

No

I bought D25114K in 2008 (270$).
One year later I went to the service center to downgrade my hammer (130$).
So now I have D25113K (but it marked as D25114K).
It is stupid but I don't like Dewalt quick change chuck.:lol_hitti

Idstein, Germany is the headquarters of Dewalt in Europe. There is not a factory there, just offices.
Look elsewhere on the tool for country of origin. If not, it may not be listed, since that is not required in Europe.

Haha, yes, it took me a while to get that also :)

Post it again when you have made more customisations.

Perhaps you mean a tube-framed one, but if you're looking for a beetle pan with a buggy body I have one you can get for a good price!

Frohe Weihnachten und guten Rutsch - since I will be on Urlaub, aka vacation, for new year.

My wife told me to pick up a Xmas present for her sister's boyfriend. A carpenter, so I got him a set of torx drivers.

They have a factory in Hungary, but I've seen tools with "Hungary" written on them, not Germany.

I recently bought a Makita TD0101F corded impact driver labeled Origin - EU (European Union), but I'm pretty sure that it came from the PRC.

However on the box of my Makita hot-air gun says - Made in Austria. I bought that 2 or 3 years ago.

Oh, yes.
Why the hell did you bought the d25144K in the first place?
Couldn't you get a nice drill and a SDS+ rotary-hammer instead of a rotary-hammer with a quick change chuck?

Merry Christmas to me :D

Proxxon IBS/E grinder:

34 accessories are included:
(wire wheel, micro drill bits, mounted points, grinding wheels, diamond cutter, sawblade etc.)

6 collets are also included:

the accessory containers can be removed from the storage box. The accessory containers lock in place in the storage box so they can´t fall out.
(pictured witch chuck wrench)

the tool:

spindle lock button

overall i like this tool very much, it´s not so noisy compared to others, it is professionally built (steel collets, metal gear case, rubber cord, single piece motor housing...) and it comes with plenty accessoires.

Checking their website, I tell you they are not from Germany, that's for sure. And if so, they would be enough proud to put "germany" stamp on their tools.:lol_hitti

Best wishes to my Euro-tool brethren the world over for happiness, peace, and good health!

Thanks bro! What's up in France? :D

They do not stamp Germany on allot of german made tools. Just some brand do it. Wish they all would stamp makes things simpler.

If you go to amazon. The non presision screwdrivers, hex keys, and some bits are made in Germany. Stamped on the tool. If you go to the website they looked to be Usa based.

They're a re-branding retail company, not an actual manufacturer.

For cutters and pliers, most of it is from Pakistan, with the rest being US (suspect Tronex is the ODM for these). The Parallel pliers are from England.

Their tweezers are also mostly from Pakistan, with the top-tier models sourced from Switzerland.

Man, someone ripped off you seriously, $400 for used drill.:eyecrazy:

P.S. Merry Xmas to all you who celebrate it today.:)

Who said it was used!
But personallly, I'd put my hard-earned cash on a Hilti.
Which is what I did. And I haven't regretted it.

yes it´s very nice ! A bit heavier than the others but well balanced and just right. Ratcheting + finish and attention to detail are very good too.

the bit ratchet collection :)

Holy bananas! how many are there?? which is your favorite?, Bahco 1952M??

33 different ones.... :)

Snap-On :D

Bahco is nice too, but i also like the Gedore 1B + 7 very much.
