Re: Toolbox

Thanks a lot guys!
I really appreciate it!

The Trusco GT-470-B from lok's link (http://www.trusco.co.jp/protool/CatalogDetail.do?spcode=GT470B++++++++++++++++++++++++4600) is plain awesome, but I don't know if someone is selling them in Europe (or even Germany). Do you know s.th. about them guys?

Kind regards
Mr MoAiZo

I've got a box that looks identical to that one, but it's made in Taiwan. I think it cost me the equivalent of about $30.00 USD
I must say, it's actually a really nice and versatile box. The only problem is not overfilling it so you can barely lift it :D

I have no idea where the Stahlwille box is made unfortunately. It looks a lot like the Hazet box, so maybe they come from the same place.

The Stahlwille is made in Poland, stahlwille cantilever Poland vs old Germany, the quality is same. I think these cantilevers sell well.

Edit,new corded drill. :)

this tool box is nice :)

MONTE:
I think it's usually 50 Hz motor and uses transformer of 220/42, about 1 KVA power. Only "hochfrequenz" is on angle grinder, here is PELV or SELV.

I can't find any differentions between model 648 and 748 ??

http://www.fein.de/de_de/bohren/drehbohrer/ds-648-09386/
http://www.lascentrum.com/en/fein+power+tools/fein+machines+42v/

What is your opinion?

maybe they are the same tool simply with a different rotor/stator but output speed etc. the same so the data is the same......if the price you pay for the drill incl. the transformator is a lot cheaper maybe i would buy it but a "normal" drill would be better because you don´t need a transformator and in case something is damaged i think it will be cheaper + easier to find a replacement rotor for the 220 Volt tool i guess....

Röhm chuck?
Metabo makes them

This is my "Red Giant", mainly filled with China&Taiwan ****. :scared:

ha ! i have the exact same box also filled with cheap ****. The **** i started with about 8 years ago...

Monte, can you find some opinions on German forums about Güde pressure washers? Where is it made? Thanks... :)

https://www.guede.com/cgi-bin/twinklecom.cgi?param=PAGE&tid=11001&lang=0&contentidx=0
the link directs me to the start page.....
For the price point China is most likely the COO...
it´s difficult to find something about Güde pressure washers since germany is a Karcher country and EVERY big box store has Kärcher....
there are also no reviews on amazon.de. I only found very few info and some people say Güde washers are ok some other say they´re not good....In the car cleaning forum it seems people recommend to use something better with more power and water flow to really clean your car. In germany´s biggest tool forum i only found 2 entries without real information.... in the german forums the threads look like this ...Kärcher, Kärcher, Kärcher, Kränzle, Kärcher, Kärcher, WAP Alto, Kärcher, Kärcher, Kränzle, Kärcher, Nilfisk, Kärcher, Kärcher..... :) you get the idea.... the questions there are mostly about if you should buy a Kärcher or a 400 Volt Kränzle..... :eyecrazy:

Thanks, Monte... The problem is that Karcher has plastic pump in models that are <300 E, so I try to find one with aluminium pump. :)

Hello everybody!

Again, with all the things with the new house and lots happening at my work I have not been as active here as I would have wanted to. But now something happened that made me have to post here. I got a packade from Cosmic Binturong, who unfortunately has been missing here for quite a while. A while ago we made a "package exchange", when he wanted some stuff that I had. It took a while for it to arrive, but now it's here and I'm very happy.

A SAM 8mm wrench. Made in France.
IMG_0280.jpg

OLFA (Japan) knife, and spare LUTZ (Germany) blades.
IMG_0282.jpg

Acesa 180mm cutting pliers, made in Spain.
IMG_0286.jpg

IMG_0287.jpg

Hazet slotted screwdrivers, 8 and 10mm.
IMG_0288.jpg

Facom 1/4" socket holders.
IMG_0291.jpg

Bahco stubby slotted 5.5mm driver. No marking, but other of this kind are made in Spain so probably that. It did not get along with the camera, so the orange color is not the real one.
IMG_0285.jpg

Small tube cutter, Bizline. I would guess from China.
IMG_0294.jpg

I would like to thank Cosmic Binturong if he reads this, I'm very happy with what I got in relation to what i sent.

Now I will get starting reading all the pages that I have missed! Happy easter/spring equinox!

Felo hitting stick

Felo ratchet bit holder

This is really disappointing, there is a lot of play in the shaft (over 1mm side to side), and the ratchet has just 8 positions. In my limited experience of Felo and Wiha drivers (Felo ergonic, Wiha soft and microfinish), I have found the Wihas to be slightly better, so I don't think I will buy Felo again.

And so the Hazet box is not left out

Does anybody know where it is made?

Here's something I haven't seen before:
A transitional Hazet 600N. It is missing the frame around the Hazet logo.
I can see why it didn't last. It isn't as attractive as the other designs.

Is this actually the first 600N?
Or is it a transitional design between the double recess and the present single recess?
Or is it just a mistake by the factory?
If anyone out there can shed light on this, I would appreciate it.

At any rate this must be a very rare series.

My latest acquisitions, random assortment of Gedore screwdrivers, old stock from the uk Gedore dealer (via ebay)

Oddly the black handled ones are marked Rahsol but still have Gedore molded into the handle, they also dont have the black oxide coating on the driver tips.

Not sure what the insulation on some of them is for as they aren't vde rated, maybe for 12v systems? plus some of them are marked ,Vandium-super while others are super-molybdam, (the black handled ones are all marked chrom-vandium) material change at some point in the production run?

The stubby driver is nice, as its a #1 Philips, which aren't nearly as common as #2 ones, would like its flat head counterpart. Although I am on the lookout for any of these type of Gedore screwdrivers, particularly the blue handled ones, (I'm guessing they are no longer available from Gedore as i haven't seen them in there recent catalogs).

Not sure what i will use the huge #4 Philips for though, other than door locks, striker plates and hinges on older cars, looks cool though :lol_hitti

Once I had take these.

But I change them with these.

The one with the yellow handle is older. It hasn't the black coated and the handles shape is the same with the rahsols.
The other with the blue handle is the most expensive screwdriver of gedore. It's because the shaft is polished? :dunno: The handle is identical with the new.

My dealer has a full set of torx screwdriver with the blue handle and some sizes from slotted and philips with blue and yellow handle. If you want some let me know.
