I use one daily as an elektrician.
Been using it for about 3 years now.
Would get the same one if this one should break or walks away.
You should be able to get is for les then £19.
They are €12,95 around here.

This is one of the beter models out there.

Cheers! You're lucky with the price there - £19 is the best I can find here -all the way up to £35 or so for the same model.

the Jokari tools are great and they strip normal "PVC" insulation quickly without problems. I own this rebadged Knipex tool: (Jokari Secura 2K)

Does anyone know where the Völkel hand taps are made? (http://www.voelkel.com/en/wir-ueber-uns-en.html)

I'm planning on buying a set, but it looks like they also produce in Asia...

Here..

Hopefully they will bring out a brushless 18v sds 3 mode rotary hammer drill out and I may get some of these! Otherwise it will be the Makita when the 4.0ah batteries are out.

how patient are you ? :) they just released their 36Volt rotary hammer KHA 36 LTX. I bet a 18 volt version with brushless/4-pole motor will follow. Does Makita have a brushless motor in their rotary hammer. Metabo also offers 5.2AH and 3years warranty on batteries.

I have the exact same one, but from Wurth, and more expansive too...

I bought this some weeks ago. Rodac pneumatic sander with a 70*400mm pad. I'm getting ready to sand those huge flat panels of my '76 VW van...

My humble collection of Wurth branded wrenches.
Only the DOE are really German but they are all the best of what I have.

Mitkoasd, yes, a resounding yes that those are good tools. Actually those are the first of the lot I had back in 2006.

I did replace the 10 and 12mm a while ago, I simply used them all the time and the wrist joint got floppy after about 5 years. The ratcheting part has never had problems on any of them.

Saw this in a friends garage today...

good thing that you only "saw" this horror...

at least the Porsche branded VOTECs where mostly rideable until their suspensions called it quit right in the middle of a, usually, long ride.

can't ever understand why those germans makers of sleek cars always choose to put -and dilute while doing so- their world renowned brands on such ineffective, hideous and over-engineered(in the bad sense of the term) bicycles... :headscrat

Bought today at the Earls Barton Vintage Rally for £1 - a USAG 283 20x22mm. Maybe not the most useful size, but I bought it for the novelty as I don't see much USAG stuff in the UK. No COO marked on it - any guesses (is it actually Italy)?

I do think that they really are made in Italy, since they are still forging wrenches there to this day, and your wrenches are apparently older. USAG used to manufacture some of the Facom wrenches there too.
I can't imagine why there would be no COO on them, though.
I'll bet Stanley is planning to close them down soon, though - got to make more jobs for those Chinese workers!!! :eyecrazy:

I am thinking to buy Elora Cantilever Tool Box with 5 trays.
Where is made, is it worth to buy it?
Any feedback about Elora toolboxes is welcome.

I don't know anything about that particular box, but in case you're interested, Alx on this forum has a few Hazet cantilevers left for a very reasonable price. Might be worth pinging him to see what he can do with shipping:

Anyone knows if these are made in Germany, or if they are rebranded? Somehow they just don't look very Hazet like to me. :dunno:
Can't find them on the Hazet website either.

I've got one of those in 10mm. It lets you reach the bleeder without removing the wheel. Very handy sometimes. Mine is a few years old and it says "Germany" on it. I'm quite sure that it's made by Hazet
That catalog page makes it look like the label is written on in magic marker  but in real life, its label is forged-in like any other Hazet wrench.

Thanks for that Alfajuj, it was indeed that silly silk-screening that made me doubt it's true origin most. Good to hear that on the actual spanner they're forged-in.
