Here's a combination possibly never seen in use together... my Wera Zyklop getting filthy on my buddy's Buick Grand National. We installed a FMIC, new downpipe, external wastegate, and attempted to do the crank seal but that didn't go so well.

After using this ratchet *one* day I am sold. It's so damn handy.

Nice! Love GN's! I'm also thinking about buying a Zyklop set. That's got to be one of the most comfortable handles too.

Can not agree on the Zyklop.
Needs both hands to reverse ratcheting mechanism and don't find the handle appropriate for ratcheting action.
Sadly, I go for my HF composite ratchet rather than the Wera one. It's lighter, handier, higher tooth count and less resistance on the ratcheting mechanism.

I've found that I can slide my thumb up and reverse it myself. Different strokes for different folks ;)

I also have a good mix of other ratchets including the Wera 3/8 push through and Armstrong and mish-mosh of Craftsman ratchets. I like a nice selection depending on task/mood.

The Zyklop push-through is also one I'd like to add to the collection..although I'm more a fan of the cushion grips.

Added one of the last missing Hazet garage equipment items to my collection: a pre-'65 toolbox (804 I guess). It's definately not blue, but greenish like other old items shown here.

Need to clean it a bit still ;)

Did not knew Fein has a factory in Romania. Most probably a supplier of Fein's has business here.
it seems the current Fein vacuums are made by Karcher in Romania

Buick Grand National.
cool car !

simply not so. 125mm long pliers (5" for the metrically challenged) can fit made in Germany; as illustrated:
True. The handle of the Cobra offers enough place.
But not all pliers have enough room as you will see later with an example.

their sheet metal crimpers, their new scissors, the screwdrivers and certain other tools are not labelled with coo
True. I only meant pliers, but forgot about those.
And for the sheet metal crimpers: They lack the COO. I looked myself today to make sure.

But I still say that Germany and Made in Germany is equivalent for Knipex pliers.
Same plier, different finish.
Germany on the head and on the handle.

Germany on the head and Made in Germany on the handle.

Other examples for pliers and full Made in Germany:

Tiny one but full sentence on the handle.

On metal and on the handle.

Germany only:

COO on the metal part.

And, sadly, no COO:

and the last ones for now......:headscrat

Very nice pictures! I hope to continue more ...

I too really like the handles of translucent acetate, from what I've been able to gather a small collection that I hope to show one of these days.

Yellow handles are identical to their Crescent few screwdrivers Nicholson in Brazil but these facts are in green, also I have a Torx Stanley identical to their Black Hawk ....

regards,

First post! Some old tools found from remainings of an old vw-garage:

View media item 43766
Elora screwdrivers, a set of eight.

View media item 43768
2 916S and a Heyco push-through-ratchets. Could use a repair kit, but in working order.

View media item 43767
Gedore 1/2" socket set. In good condition, barely used!

Has anyone experience of old Kinzo spanners? Good, bad, awful? Found a set, and design seems quite nice...

The edge of the disc is thicker. This should prevent the disc from jamming while cutting, also should make the cut neater.

Are the switches missing for both 916S's? I still 'need' a 916S (with round handle), as I own most other ratchet designs of Hazet already :bounce:

Yes they are both missing a switch. If you look closely you can see that another ratchet is set to tightening and other to loosening. :)

Haha.. maybe you can paint one ratchet green for tightening and one red for loosening! Saves you even more time :D
