I was pretty sure there was a topic somewhere concerning air compressors.

My needs grew a bit and I need to purchase one compressor for a single task:
blow dust/trapped air.

An oilless one is a good choice? Not planning on spending big bucks as it will be for casual home use. Maybe inflate a tire or two.

Can someone point me into the right direction?

It's pretty compact - just 50L and doesn't take up much space at all. Here's a pic with a 26" mountain bike wheel for scale:

If you need smaller there's a few options at machine mart, screwfix, ebay, or gumtree... I wouldn't think there's much between the really small ones, and the prices all seem pretty similar.

I don´t know exactly what tools/products Cimco produce at all...
i guess some pliers are made by Orbiswill and VBW (?).

For Hazet it is end of February. There is a large trade fair every other year at that time and that's where new items are presented.

i only use the pants for "home work" (garden etc.) so i can´t say that much, but all important seams are triple-stitched, the fabric is thicker than the cheapo pants (which rips easily), the pants come with all necessary pockets and also has cordura reinforcements and the color stays fresh after washing....so far so good...

How do you like that set from Hazet? Would you mind a short review?

I was about to pull the trigger on one of those Hazet 854 sets a while ago... I have 1/2" set (Gedore) that I use maybe 90% of the time. I have a 3/8" drive set (Stahlwilly) that I use at work. I don't have a 1/4" drive set, but I'm seriously considering this one to fill that gap finally.

Its a great little set, everything is made & machined perfectly. I really have nothing bad to say about it!

The case is made of a very tough plastic, I was a bit worried about the latch before I bought it, but after nearly 2 years there is no wear at all. all the parts are held tightly by a rubber mould, which is very handy if your prone to losing things (like myself).
The ratchet is very smooth, it is only 20 teeth (I think hazet offers a set with a fine tooth ratchet as well), but since the handle is short it has never been a problem because it only has to move a short distance. I've had the handle covered in grease and coal dust regularly and it cleans easily and doesn't stain.
All the extensions and sockets are perfect, no machining faults or chrome peeling. the sockets have knurling on them which is really useful. The screwdriver bits have a great coating (I have no idea what it is), which grips screws and doesn't slip. I've used them to remove screws with stripped out heads easily, since they grip so well.

I'm really impressed with the set, it has got me out of a lot of trouble when removing/replacing things from tight areas, and working on small parts of plant (like electrical components). I bought it from Jensputzier^^, he had the best price available at the time. Its definately not cheap, and similar sets from other manufacturers (german or other) can be found for a lot less cash, but I really can't fault it.

Unfortunately I don't like the pliers. The forging and coating is bad, and the cutters don't cut bare copper.

I own a number of NWS pliers with the teflon finish. The build and finish quality on each of them is first rate. I am sorry to hear that your Irwin branded pliers does not meet your expectations. Did you purchase it from Amazon.com? If so, why don't you contact them for a product exchange?

I own a pair of nws combination, side cutters and multi grip pliers and all three are top quality too!

I don't like too bad mouth any manufacturer, especially a quality one like nws, but this pair of pliers must have slipped QC.
It's a bit hard for me to exchange them since I'm in australia, but I'll see if I can. I might have to wear this one.

So much shorter and easier to maneuver than the Hitachi. I think I either paid $7 or $15 for the Hitachi at a swap meet, but didn't think I'd ever find a super clean, possibly unused Metabo, so I embraced the **** and shelled out the clams.
