Monte, how do you like Witte bits? And do you happen to know if the 'stainless' version is significant better then the basic version?
Witte bits have a good fitment, can´t say much about durability since i use several different brands (Wera, Wiha, Witte, Schröder) at the same time so i haven´t worn any bits yet :D
The stainless bits are for stainless screws so i don´t know if they are "better" , they´re just different :). Especially made for stainless steel screws to prevent rust on these screws (often you can see boat parts which were attached with stainless screws but obviously with the wrong bits....)

Sorry can't help you, there is no part number . I got it when i bought the Gedore set 7R-012 back in 2007 or 2008.
ahh ok thanks !!

This is a NOS 8" combination pliers from Record, Sheffield, England. I didn't really need another pliers but I'd never seen a Record marked pliers before and it was keenly priced at €12.95 so i couldn't pass it by. As far as I know Record stopped most manufacturing at their Parkway Works in or around 1998 so that means this pliers has been lying in it's plastic folder for nearly 20 years! The shape and design of the jaws are quite similar to that of an older pliers I have made by Elliot Lucas, England.

Gedore keyboard (no part number on it)

Suply Bahco blades. Tested the Carbon blade (yellow) on a stainless rod. Toothless after sawing 4mm deep. The bi-metal blade had no problem with it.

Stahlwille Motor 10 and OPEN RING 14, 512 ratchet and sockets. Bought second-hand. I am not sure whether they are original or not.

Nice, can I be so bold to ask how much you've paid for those sockets and the ratchet?
Either way, nice first post, welcome!!

Welcome!

The OEM is wuro/Athlet, monte posted a link to their website above ^
You might find the same screwdrivers available in another brand (vbw, Wbg or matador). felo/wiha/wera/pb swiss make similar sets as well if your interested.

Athlet looks like they've got some really nice stuff. Too bad the brand seems seems almost non existent in he North American Market

Lifetime guarantee will be problematic since the company went bust in august 2013 (the company was founded in 1956). The economic crisis and low wages in China are to blame. The company was sold to Andrej Horvath from Slovakia.

Where do you guys place Hazet wrenches and sockets in comparison to Stahlwille and Gedores that I already have.
Also how good are the Wera Joker ratchet spanners. Thanks

It has DRP on it, so it's pre-1948, probably pre-WWII.

I recently picked up 2 of those 4ah batteries, it's the main reason why I'm switching over from Makita for my 10.8v kit, that and the tools are better and there are more to chose from.

Makita seems to sleep currently... (in case of 10,8 volt tools...)

Malaysia :)

Seriously? Wow, didn't expect that...

Well, there's a violation of etiquette right there...

Dutch humor I guess :headscrat

How narrow is the felo holder?
I can't find any bit holders under 9.5mm, except for the flimsy and crooked chinese ones.
I work with very low torques so its not a big deal if there is little material.

It's 9mm width and 5.8cm long.

Find a bit holder that you like, send it to me with return postage, and I'll turn it down to whatever diameter you spec. Free of charge.
