Are these made by Stahlwille or outsourced?
I think it´s a rebranded Bessey.Hey guys! Long time no see.
Is that clamp german made, Monte? I've noticed a lot of the locally stocked Bessey clamps are now made in China. Unfortunate. Jorgensen/Pony is still US made or Taiwan for some of the stuff and will get my $$$ when I do some woodworking project this summer.
yesWould i be right in saying scintilla is the company that made engine magnetos etc?
usually a litte up to a lot cheaper (between 1 and 50+€/ pice) Eg a Stahlwille 1/4" ratchet plus sockets see below.

Welcome to the forum !Hello everybody! I'm following this thread for a time and find it interesting and useful. This one plier, down in pics is one of my favorites, any opinions about the trademark? Thanks in advance for replies.![]()
And Gedore i thinkI believe they are the OEM for CK and possibly wiha (?).
This looks like the European version of our model 2125 cordless 3/8" drill and screwdriver. Yours was made in Holland while ours was domestically made (in the U.S., of course).
Schmitz is the ODM for CK Tools, Bernstein, and NWS's ESD line (yellow grips).

You order them directly from the Schmitz Online Store.Hi, Champo.
Would you mind to share which store you ordered the pliers from ?
Schmitz is the ODM for CK Tools, Bernstein, and NWS's ESD line (yellow grips).
Wiha's are similar, but I actually believe they're producing their own (grips are different from Schmitz & the ODM's listed above).
Makes sense IMHO at any rate, given how invested/committed they are in the electronic tools market (precision screwdrivers, tweezers ODM'ed by VOMM, and now the electronics cutters & pliers).

Skil had a factory in Holland where they manufactured professional power tools for the european market it seems. Unfortunately the newer Skil seem to be only hobby gradeThis looks like the European version of our model 2125 cordless 3/8" drill and screwdriver. Don´t worryI saw this Starmix ad, but no mention of a 110v version for us.
I ordered the Starmix ISP ARDL 1435 instead of waiting, which is even a generation old itself. The new ones are all 1600 watts (vs 1400).
I keep forgetting that they've started selling through Amazon.de as well. :tard:Nanofrog is correct, straight from their website:
schmitz-zangen online store
Edit: oops, nanofrog even put a link in too!
Nice find. Here are a couple of old world purchases from the last month:
- Orbis angled long nose pliers (the head is angled 25 degrees); I purchased it in late February with a 15% discount at Menard's for $33.97 (before tax). It is found in Menard's electrical tool's department. Here are some pictures:

Ratcheting crimp tool w/ multiple dies. Round thing is a magazine that holds the dies.Ok, I give up, what does it do ?
The plastic handle on this looks a heck of alot like the older
PB Swiss/Baumann T-handle hex wrenches.
Same texture on the handle and same shape.
You can see the type I'm referring to in this post.
