Is anyone familiar with the heyco 3800 sockets? They are thin walled impact sockets so they should double as your normal sockets too because they are less bulky than your common impact sockets.

Just bought a few and they seem great, I think that they are being phased out by heyco because the seller was giving a 40% off on them, but I am not sure. Those are the short ones, there are also tall ones available.

They sit nicely on my newly acuired Fein ASB 636 too:

Wera square drive (aka Robertson) screwdrivers. My most recent addition was the standard length #2 from earlier this year. The other #1, #2 (long), and #3 are 5+ years ago.

Wera conforms with the standard colouring of the handles (green for #1, red for #2, black for #3)

At the time I bought these, they were to compliment my standard Robertson screwdrivers. What struck me as unique about Wera's design was the "square-plus" feature, just like their "Hex-plus" drive tools that they are well known for. I'm a fan of their "Hex-plus" bits and hex keys as they do really work. The same applies for their "square-plus" design. They do offer an extra advantage of the standard square/Robertson drive.

Here's a shot of the drive end. The second one from the left is new.

Wera's brand logo has changed over time. My latest addition shows their new logo that we're now familiar with.

Turn the handles over and you can see the different COO, stamping, and wording:

I recently aquire a flat screwdriver from merkur - germany ....never eard about this brand before...but seems to be well builded...pics later...you already know something about this brand?

Maybe part of an older product line from DOVO? They're now mostly known for Razors, scissors, and shaving equipment, but they do brand some of their products Merkur.

I have some Wera made Klippon VDE drivers that are a nice dark green colour.
Its just a shame I find the handles uncomfortable to use.

The 10mm seems to be the same at the Open end. But if you look from the side Profile, the French made handle seems to be thinner, or just the edges are more "rounded" compared to the Taiwan Made. Also a Small difference in weight French 42 gr, Taiwan 44 gr.

I will post some better Pictures for comparsion.

Do you can remove lug nuts with this tool ?

Yes I think so As I have understood it these will both tighten and loosen with a torque of 100 Nm so it might not be possible to loosen bolts that are really stuck, but if they have been tightened with the same machine then it should be possible to loosen it with it too, though I have not tried this yet since I just bought it. Usually I loosen everything up with a lug wrench first. I got it for cheap, 15 euro, so I could not pass it up since they go for almost 700 euro new and I could never ever spend that kind of money on something like this.

The French made has only just a letter (P) on the right side, next to the Facom marks. The Taiwan made has a number and a letter (767973 M)

i´m not sure if it´s german made or borrowed from their MTD mother company....

Bosch did release some great measuring tools since they took over CST/Berger. I´ve even seen a german made one

damn 15 bucks !?! That´s a good price for a Fein tool
. Loosening torque is usually higher than tightening torque so that´s why i wonder if the tool can get the job done ?
