BAT akovec, only this style for that price (luckily I need them pretty often :) ) they only had one more style from connex (wire strippers) for about 7-8€

8 eur seems like a good price for wire strippers made by orbis, they have the spring on the adjustible pin between the jaws like unior or its springless design like knipex?

I've been a long time watcher of this thread. Been collecting tools for work for the past couple years. This is what I have so far in the "Old World" category.

Just the tooling for it now :-o A whole new world of expensive :) looks like a great little lathe!

It fortunately does come with a few bits (I have no idea what the semi-circular cage-looking thing is in the top left of the pic?):

I will need to buy some of the basics at least of course. Here it is loaded on the truck:

Looks like tomorrow's both birthday and Christmas at once. :)

I don't immediately see what the semi circural thing does either but it will probably be something to do with the headstock.

Either way it looks like a great lathe!

So I have some Knipex pliers and my adjustable are made in Spain but I felt this is my first purchase that is worthy for this thread.

Ignore the hammer, I posted this in another thread.

These wrenches feel great in the hand. I like the finish. Not full polish but not satin. I will be getting more

AV tinker er,

Would you mind taking a close up picture of one of the Stahlwille double open end wrenches? The second picture is blurry.

Thanks,

Dave

It's called the Wera Koloss it's a 1/2" drive ratchet that doubles as a hammer. The handle is in 2 parts, that second handle is basically a cheater bar that attaches to the end of the standard handle for additional leverage. Alternatively the extension can be removed and a centering pin can be inserted instead to aid in aligning bolt holes. I work on large commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and it comes in handy while making repairs on cooling towers and large electric motors.

Some new old stock of Belzer :D

Omg!!!! Where did you find NOS Sandvik Belzer wrenches? I would even trade my stahlwille combos for nos sandvik belzer germany! Anyone wants to do a change-up to stahlwille openbox 13 or 14 big sets? Or open ratch 17 ratcheting combos? I watch every day after a set sandvik belzer 1952m germany and have not seen one yet:(

+1 to this! I have a few 1952s, normally i don´t fancy the glossy stuff, but the Belzers are just soooo nice!

Long time since my last posting, work, homework (or should i say projects in my home), family and dog took my time - but last sunday, and this sunday: Fleamarket time!

A KEF-motor bench grinder "Slibette" - made by Københavns Elektromotor Fabrik (Copenhagen Electric Motor Factory), my guess is 1970´s. It was almost charcoal black - the pictures are after some wash up, and i also made some new safety acrylic screens, new cable etc. Runs like new! I will try to find a new grinding stone at the same stand next sunday.

"Kugleleje motor - smøring unødvendig" - ball bearing motor, oiling not needed.

On the back of a trailer, obviously left in the rain for some days, rusty water running down the sides, i found this...

Heuer Front 150 mm vice - again, pictures taken after a slight overhaul ...

View media item 51351
... now i got to make that big welding table ... much to big for my small work bench... Oh, did i mention the price? DKK 200,- (<35$).
Some wrenches, 5 DKK/each (<1$) ....Hazet, Matador, Dowidat, Heyco, Gedore, Matador, Dowidat, Bahco, Matador ...

View media item 51354
This is my first Bahco double ring wrench - and my first Heyco in AF imperial size

Yes they are! But its not the fancy chrome I like with these, its have the thinnest head ever! Strong to! Bahco 1952m argentina vs sandvik belzer argentina! The germans is even thinner! Stahlwille feels pretty fat compare to belzer:(

Except for the tools, my guess would be that the Argentines are more slim than the Germans ... (not to offend any of our german friends here - the danes are even more bulky than the germans).

Some of my Belzer and Sandvik-Belzers. The Sandvik-Belzer is a different pattern than the (older) Belzers (type 111). Have you ever seen a "quick-action" open end, like the bottom one? Belzer type 100. Same finish/beam pattern as type 1952.

View media item 51360
Sadly, the previous owner of the 19 mm type 1952 didn´t find the open end slim enough, so he gave it a grind...

Hi guys, do any of you know where to find this set of screwdrivers? It is made by Gedore (not the new type of set but the old type) Thanks!

I collect tool screwdriver. But I have been unable to buy the Gedore screwdriver old sample, such as shown in the photo. I ordered them through the Amazon store but I had a screwdriver has a new design.

Thanks
