I've got a mixture of Gedore Austria and German made knipex. I definitely prefer the finish on the Gedores. Sort of a bead blasting then satin chrome.

Very nice finish, looks like they forge the coarse form, and then cnc-machine the round slots.

For Stahlwille fans in the EU these are a good price. At first I thought the engraved 'S' stood for second but they have over 1500 in stock and have been selling them for almost 2 years on ebay.co.uk
They can't all be grade 2 and they are indeed discontinued in 6 point by Stahlwille.

Fitment is good, design is standard, finish is a bit unusal because it´s glossier than the german wrenches. I mainly bought them because they were cheaper than others and i wanted to own some tools from Beta
