Well, it means you need less than 50% power to cut e.g. wire compared with conventional power side cutters. i was surprised about the power transmission and maybe someone here have bought the pliers and have some experience too with this heavy duty leverage side cutter.

I still like them ...

Just brought my PB Swiss bit back from heavy industrial usage in a machine shop. The bit has endured torque of 80 Newton Meters (60 Foot-pounds) or less on my torque wrench and breaker bar.

You can clearly see the coating disappearing where it was contacting the fastener and adapter holder. However strength was not lost nor did permanent geometric deforming occur.

I LOVE PB SWISS!

Funny how Tanos Systainers managed to be used by so many brand. Can't remember seeing lots of power tools manufacturers using Sortimo.

My only thought is that, somehow, I think Tanos cases would be slightly less sturdy than Sortimo. But maybe it's me.

Monte: can you please let me know if the "old" Multimaster would fit in the "new" inlay ?

Looks like the Facom hammer. Being that they're both Stanley brands, that should be obvious though.

Close off some Hazet's with the PB Swiss

In my opinion the grip is small for this long sizes, but very comfortable.

reason: my hands molded by Hazet Hexanamic :lol_hitti

USAG, no Country of manufacture on items. (likely Asia)

I'm not sure. My understanding is that USAG used to manufacture a lot of items for Facom. (Anything that was Facom - Made in Italy, was USAG).

When a lot of the a Facom favourites started to be replaced by poorer quality far eastern tools, it seemed to me that you could still buy tools very similar to the originals, and certainly of equivalent quality, by buying USAG. Their prices seem seriously reasonable too!

Don't know how long this will continue for, or even how much of the USAG line is outsourced already. Someone here may know more.

It is the 13-2. Was priced the same as the 10-2, plus I got some discount. The worst part is that it shipped with a Multimaster catalogue.

Kingsley is a subsidiary of the Danaher Corp. The same people who own GearWrench, Armstrong, Allen, etc.

The address I found for Kingsley is an Apex Tool Group facility. Apex Tool Group is owned by Danaher.

The screwdriver handle sort of looks like the handles found on some of the old MAC screwdrivers, but MAC is owned by Stanley.

Danaher could have been making the screwdrivers for MAC/Stanley Tools, or vice versa. It's also possible the screwdrivers were made in Taiwan or China. I believe I've seen a copy of that handle on a Taiwan made screwdriver.

Sorry I can't be more specific.

The new one is all silver and much longer to deal with the higher output of the 4-pole and brushless motors.

I imported mine from Toolstop.

What I find very intriguing is that (what looks to be) a hex bolster is on the top of the screwdriver

They really dig into your hand when they are like that, its not a great idea if your going to use them as a regular screwdriver, but good if you want to turn with a ratchet.
