losvre, what I meant to say is that if someone posted five photos for example, and I liked the photos and wanted to respond to it, I don't have to include all the pictures that have been posted already in my reply/respond to the OP because it will be mundane and repetitive when you have to scroll through the same photos that have been re-posted over and over. I know it will require a bit of work to edit the quoted text, but its a good idea to keep the already massive thread organized.

I was just joking,

Merry Christmas!!!

Monte have steinel heat guns declined in quality? I'm thinking of purchasing new stock of an older model in order to get a higher quality gun what are your thoughts on this?

Some people are new to the internet, this place is notorious for that. The worst is when they respond right after and quote the pics.

Can't see any in the catalogue, but then again neither Stahlwille or Hazet make their own ratcheting wrenches., they come from Taiwan.

Gedore do, made in Germany

Thanks for the info and link maico. I was not aware that Stahlwille and Hazet get their ratcheting wrenches from Taiwan. I once saw on here that Stahlwille produces 90% of their tools in house, I guess these are from the 10% that's not :). I just recently got a Gedore ratcheting set, but there isn't any offset on them and the gear mechanism seems rough, so I was looking at Hazet and Stahlwille because they seem to have like 5* offset and maybe smoother mechanism, and reversible ratcheting. I don't feel like paying a premium on tools produced Inexpensively and marked up.

We wont tell
thanks :)
Monte, do you know if Stahlwille have something similar to this?
no, they don´t :(
Monte have steinel heat guns declined in quality? I'm thinking of purchasing new stock of an older model in order to get a higher quality gun what are your thoughts on this?
I think the new ones look cheaper than the older ones...the plastic and the switches etc...Difficult to say if the "ingredients" are now made cheaper too...But If you can find a older model....
Monte, are you not doing a Christmas tool calendar this year?
Nope. I thought about it (Wera) but i think i already have all Wera tools i need :) The go-through socket set looks interesting but since i have ratcheting wrenches i think it might not be necessary anymore to have go-through sockets. But maybe next year :)

There is no: "all wera tools i need"

There is not a limit for how many Wera tools you need.

Comprende?

Various spanners- Original Britool, Smalcalda, WEP? etc. The Smalcalda has an exotic colour - really nice and no rust after so many years.

View media item 53804

That Smalcalda wrench looks like the Berinex wrench I posted before in this thread. It has no rust either and the same colour. Maybe it has a different alloy.

These sort of fit the category...

Got a Christmas voucher from my work to use at a local tool store that sells koken, Gedore and bahco, walked out with the below:

Bahco S4RM ratcheting wrenches. 4 sizes on each wrench, very handy for in a toolbag (made in Taiwan though):

Koken attack driver:

Finally got my toolbag sorted as well, can you recognise anything?

Hallo,
I am Yannick from the Netherlands and I follow this thread for a few months.
Now it was time to post something myself.

Dynasteel (I've never seen this brand), and 2x VBW

Dynasteel - and Dynacore - were made by the Usines Gilson in La Croyere - near the town of La Louviere - in Belgium. They made everything from nuts and bolts over horseshoes to steam engines, and tools for the coal mining and rail-road businesses.
Founded in 1883, the company folded in the mid-1960's.

Some google-fu was in order after I found these - en gelukkig praten we ook wat Frans ;)
