Anybody have a Metaloc II case and a Metabo jigsaw that could post some pics? in pics of the case by itself, it seems like a huge case for a not so huge tool, but maybe it's just an optical illusion from the lack of scale.

I have just got 2 models of adjustable wrenches, brand “Hazet”, I would like to know the period of MFD of these 2 models. One of them made from Sweden, the shape looks like Bahco’s one so I think it could probably be related to each other.

If anyone has information on this matter, kindly share the information either to me or others, thank you very much.

A month or two ago I posted pruning shears after I derusted them, now they've got their final shape :) with some rubber hose, new spring, piece of leather, a bit of riveting and sharpening they are back in action :)

after derusting:

P.S. only mark they have is "Delta-Solingen" and probably model number "110", so i assume that they are made by Hugo Linder DeltaWerk...

Scarpa Mojito. Italian boot company with a factory in Romania. If your clambering around on wet surfaces or on roofs I've found the soles on these remarkably grippy. I've had many Vibram patterns over the years on footware and these are amazing. The soft compound probably wont last long but these are lightweight boots that are a cross between a rock climbing shoe, walking boot and sneaker.

Those look like some great boots  I've never heard of Scarpa before but I'll have to check them out. I've had good luck with with similar climbing type shoes over the past couple years.

I recently picked up this Hazet tire inflator. Looking forward to trying it out, but I can't seem to remove the 7.2mm air fitting so I can put in a 1/4" fitting. I'm assuming this is possible, but does anyone know for sure?

These are Wiha and Snap-on bis I sent to Black Oxide treatment, they look and feel way better than raw steel bits! I think I will send all my regular bits for blackening.

I also got a gray pair a while back. The none-Goretex lined version which is not waterproof but breath better.

Interesting boot Maico!

I've been wearing Scarpa's ever since I wanted something a notch above Brashers!

Most of their leather boots are Italian made, and very well made too!

The Romanian factory seems to produce their fabric boots. I've got one pair, and have no complaints! Seems to be no compromise on fit, or quality of construction! I think Scarpa keep a close eye on the quality, and supply all the materials!

I'm assuming these are the 'top end' of the Romanian production and certainly interesting. All the support of a light boot, but many of the features of a sticky climbing shoe as well, and a sole halfway between!

May be forced to hunt down a pair of these to try!

Or you can buy GEDORE impact bits that they have a similar treatment and they look like Titanium, nice:thumbup:

Guys, Monte , I have a dilema...

My Bosch GDR 18v is practically unusable for tightening screws, it just brakes the screw or kills the threads in mdf or aluminium ...

I need a gdr and gds like tools but with torque adjustment so I can use it tightening bolts on motorcycles . something like 10-35 nm for 10.8v and 70-150nm for 18v

I found AcDelco makes something like that but it's stupid expensive and only in 1/2 , it's still a china tool at a premium...

Probably not the answer you are looking for, but I'd be looking at Milwaukee M12 tools.... My M12 3/8" impact wrench (2454 here, dunno what the call it in Europe) has torque control settings, the 1/4" hex does as well, I believe (2453) and 1/4" IW (2452). I might also look into the Fuel screwdriver (2402, maybe?).

I'm waiting to see if Bosch ever brings brushless 10.8/12v impact wrenches to the US.

Most of the fasteners on a BMW at least are sub 10Nm. You need a non impact for that level of control, and the non impacts that do it with that kind of accuracy cost way too much outside of a factory.

I use a Milwaukee 12 volt driver, not an impact. It has an adjustable clutch, but for small fasteners, I just snug them up and then manually twist the tool to get final torque. Works fine. I use it for body panels and most anything up to about 6mm. Bigger stuff, I use T-handles.
