I finally bit the bullet and bought a new compressor

A Javac TX3 4HP EU 230 Volt made in Cheq Republic.

Choose this one mainly because of its free run start, 100% EU made, High output (400ltrs gross, 350 ltrs nett output) low noise due to low revs (72 dba at 950 rpm.) and 5yrs waranty..
Paid € 545 incl. shipping to The Netherlands excl. tax.

That looks nice congratulations! There is an elongated tube that runs above the lettering is that a filter?

How well do they cut though? :dunno:

I get what you mean with so many, as I've 12 cutters of various sizes & shapes & 6 pliers. Takes 2 cigar boxes to store them. :p

I compared Lindstrom Rx8148 with Ideal Tek E5542 and Erem 576TX. They all cut well when they are new, sharp and clean. The only difference is the Erem one is a carbide cutter and can cut thin piano wire. Don't know how long they'll last.

That is not a filter but the interim tank, which has a function to always start the compressor motor in no-load load, and as a result the use of a B3 (nano) engine with low torque. This provides two major benefits: no peak load = lower power consumption, and allows you to run in continuous duty.

no worries migatronic is a quality product

why didn't you get Esab or Rehm?

nice little machine though

Well, I have a cousin who's a welder and he uses only 2 types: Kemmpi or Migatronic. Kemmpi has stopped making the small ac/dc single phase tig so limited as to choice. He has people working for him that uses this and similar machines all day every day and highly recommend them which is why I ended up with this one. Very happy this far, although my welding skills need more work[emoji15]

kemppi for me is like a farm equipment... no finesse, sure it does the job but....all the weldors I know using kemppi don't know much about welding and more important don't care but that's another story

If you need some oneon one pointers leave a private masage :)

Hello guys,

I want to buy a metric set of 6 point SK X Frame wrenches.
easset_upload_file79_56471_e.jpg

Do you guys know a seller who sells them here in Europe or even in Germany?
(The prices are horrible as they are double that of SAE.)

Have you guys used that tool and what is your opinion?
(I know of two threads here an gj about the x frame but I ask again :) )

Got a little carried away with Gedore.
COO on the cases is Denmark.
COO of the pliers and cutters is Austria.
COO of the screwdrivers is unknown.

--> Try this one. This web store is located in the USA
https://www.jbtoolsales.com/sk-tools-80019-12-pc-metric-x-frame-ratcheting-wrench-set/

But the price excluding shipping is still high

Have you guys used that tool and what is your opinion?

I finally bought my Fiskars X25 Axe. Marked: Designed and made in Finland.
720.jpg

Love this tool!
It just goes trough a block of wood like nothing else.
720.jpg

Also the safety holder for storage is very good (especially in a household like ours with small children.

Great Ax! What I especially like is the low maintenance on the Fiskars. they last a while too.

I have a few gransfors brux hand forged from Sweden. The look more traditional but in terms of usability are in the same league.

I have the Carolus in blue (Gedore) have used to the max setting of 200 Nm for wheel axles and no problems at all.

I think that the ratcheting mechanism of this one is the strongest. Most pro wrenches have the same mechanism.
