really nice vices, sturdy as %^&!
My only gripe is the non removable jaws.
It will be a expensive battery tool set with several battery systems if you only want to buy german tools...![]()
Who/ where is your supplier.
I am sure he wouldn't mind the GJ members as clients[emoji3]

Hi Monte, you are right. However, I am not sure how long a battery would last on an angle grinder or circular saw and if can provide the power to cut through steel or hard/ thick wood etc. That is why I have only bought the Drill with batteries.
On another note, do you know who manufactures the following lights for Hazet and if the batteries can be replaced?
Thanks and have a good day

i only found similar looking ones but not the exact ones. Most likely you´ll find them somewhere from companies located in PRC or ROC.On another note, do you know who manufactures the following lights for Hazet and if the batteries can be replaced?
i´ve seen higher priced angle grinders and drills "Made in Ireland"Does Hitachi produces any tools in a country other than China? Any recommendation of particular tool from theirs made in old world?
you can check out Rehau (Garden hoses made in Germany)Monte and other tool connoisseurs, who makes good garden hose ? I'm assuming they are all the same diameter. I'm looking for hose that doesn't kink but still coils easily and doesn't get to stiff in a UK winter.
they´re. I´m not sure if the leather handled ones are worth the money thoughAlso some Secateurs. I'm assuming Swiss made Felco are worth the money ?
It looks strong! Wonder If someone could use it as small anvil.
Is the coo written in the vice itself or on the paperwork?
Thanks

Hi Mr Jack i want to ask you how is the quality of usag hammer 382f 500 gramms. I am in Italy and now usag is for sale
16€ hammer 500g and 20€ 800gramms.I now that hammer is the same like facom 205c
I would take a long look at Compac: http://www.compac.dk/en/
Although I'm not entirely sure everything is still made in Denmark. It used to be.

100 meter ?Think I'll follow garden experten-Führer Monte's advise and go for the top end Rehau hose 2x 50 m plus all brass connectors.
Surprisingly large difference in prices on the various UK websites. These 2 being the cheapest I found... still expensive though £140 all in with gun
how big is the garden of your mansion ?
It was not bad at all. It took a lot of beating for about a year, until I lost it at a construction site.
The handle was very good, it had some kind of soft texturing to provide slippage. And the shock absorbtion was decent.

.Gardena - think they make at least 3 different grades and even the cheapest is way better than the usual shite!
I have a friend with a small nursery and they use one of the better grades! Used every day, summer and winter, no probs!
You can get it relatively easily in the U.K. too!
Alternatives would be available from Hozelock, Draper, Rehau or Kärcher.Monte and other tool connoisseurs, who makes good garden hose ? I'm assuming they are all the same diameter. I'm looking for hose that doesn't kink but still coils easily and doesn't get to stiff in a UK winter.

I've got a pair of the felco cable cutters, and we use then at work too. Those things are worth their weight in gold!Felcos are pretty well regarded among bicycle mechanics. I don't think they make much for the bicycle world, but pro mechanics will actively seek out their cable cutters, even though they could easily just order a Park Tool or similar from their shop catalog.
Help... I seem to have caught Monte's garden tool acquisition syndrome ( GTAS)
Just bought these ...
It plays the German anthem when you switch it on.
Hello everyone! I found this forum whilst searching for information about a set of tools I have. While I didn't find what I was looking for, I saw plenty of interesting pieces in this topic and thought I would share with you this little mystery set I have.
I hope my post is suitable for this topic - I have seen old and new stuff in here so I believe it will be, but if not then by all means delete and please accept my apologies
This is a leather satchel with 10 spanners / wrenches that have double-sized ring ends. I haven't seen any like this before and I couldn't find out anything from a general Web search. I had bought them through eBay from someone in Europe a few years ago, and have since forgotten which country that was! I reckon they are from the late 70's or early 80's as they are metric and the satchel seems about that kind of period in style, construction and cosmetic condition.
I hope this is of interest to some of youThank you for showing me some interesting tools that make me want to become even more of a hoarder than I already am.

"Gardena" is the common brand for DIY use over here, you might find better prices for hoses from this brand.

I went to my local farm supply place and bought the most expensive 5l hand pump they had. It's got a 7mm wall in the bottle, pumps up to 3 bar and weighs 2.6kg empty.
The main deciding factor for this over the cheaper UK made Hozelock they also had is that they had a complete range of spare parts in stock for Solo but nothing for Hozelock.
Cost £49 and change
This one has the potential to become a break bleeder, after some mods[emoji16]View media item 62367Solo sprayer made in Germany
