FWIW, it seems that the Japanese screwdriver manufacturers are now using the same DIN standard that everyone else is using.Like many I've got an assortment of screwdrivers, Wiha, Witte, Facom France old type, Vessel and PB Swiss. The PB fit Phillips the best and Vessel for any thing Japanese which these days use JIS/PH hybrid screws. The pure JIS standard non-camout has fallen by the wayside .
I've a few true JIS screwdrivers, but they're the smallest sizes available (used on electronics). They really shine on the tiny screws you find in electronics or watch making (don't cam out on tiny screws as a Philips would).
