In the USA Norseman and Viking are good (they are the same thing, they just have 2 names for different parts of the country), but I don't know what brands are in Europe.

For Beta COO, I usually look it up on Chad's Toolbox. It says these are made in Taiwan.

So for the AC Hydraulic jack stands, the only way to get it is through the distributor. It's $85 per stand (more or less, depending on the stand, but all around that). There is a 4-6 week lead time too. The US Distributor is AME 352-799-1111 and the salesman Rick is familiar (he is the one who added it to their parts catalog for me).
I thought it was new at first but think it's the bit driver with a hex to square adapter.

Zyklop mini 3. So maybe it is a new square drive ratchet.

I own the 1/4” bit ratchet, and this looks almost identical, but with a square drive.
Bear in mind that these are all Taiwanese tools. The bit ratchet I own is O.K. for Taiwanese, but I think I paid the equivalent of about $20 for it.
For the prices quoted you could probably get a Stahlwille or Hazet short 1/4 drive ratchet and 3 sockets, all German made!
The 1/4” hex Zyklop Mini and 11mm Zyklop Mini 2 look the same in isolation. Together the 2 looks bigger.
I agree that the Reverse Gear drive on these ratchets is not excellent in feel - that has to do with design, not any idiocy about where they’re made - but they’re not worse than the old (20T) Stahlwille. The newer 80T Wille feels better in use. Never used Hazet.
Honestly I would buy this Wera if the square drive were an insert into the Zyklop Mini 2, only because it would make my USAG 11mm ratchet (same as Facom HX pico) more useful in a portable kit. As a stand-alone tool, no interest.
New precision electronics pliers set from Bahco. I took a chance ordering these not knowing for sure if they've yet been outsourced to China with a corresponding reduction in quality. But I was thankfully rewarded with a very nice set of pliers made in Spain and a case much larger than what was advertised. As you can see, it has room for several more tools.
I have a lot of precision pliers for electronics with, and these are probably some of my new favorites. I still like the Elora the best, as there's just something about the Schmitz made pliers with box joints and the unique black chrome finish. What I like about three Bahco is the sturdiness and precision of the finish on the jaws with the very comfortable handles having the textured rubberized grip inserts.
You can see here the Bahco set next to boxed sets from Knipex, Wiha and Unior. Also showing a couple specific styles up close next to the equivalent jaw style from Knipex.

Bit of a random thing noticed on an ebay sale. Britool e2.uba 10mm hex bit is stamped 'Germany.' Didn't know some Britool tools came from Germany. Maybe just the hex bits.
Im sure they were INBUS and most german brands today use INBUS bit's Gedore, Maybe Elora can't really tell, and lots more other brands.
That post just had the other box sets I have, while I've gotten the Elora's and posted them mostly one by one over time. Here is a picture of my Schmitz ESD plier drawer made of Elora along the top row and Wiha and Gedora on the bottom row.
Here are a couple close-ups of my latest Elora ESD cutters showing the black chrome finish.
I've also chosen one specific style with the straight flat jaw type pliers to compare across the different brands. In these pictures, starting with the Elora and going clockwise, it's Elora ESD, Knipex precision, Knipex ESD, Knipex electronics, Unior, Knipex precision mechanics, Belzer/Bahco mechanics, Bahco precision, and Wiha ESD pliers.
That is really nice. I have some of the Bahco adjustables I've bought new, but all are Spanish made.

Here's a representative sample of my modest, hodgepodge assortment of small electronics tools. Tsunoda, Keiba, Lindstrom, Erem, unremarkable Taiwanese Aven and tungsten carbide Schmitz Aven, Gedore, Hozan and Keiba Pro-Hobby.
This week I bought the Keiba and Erem pliers. Here's how they compare to my Lindstroms.

That’s how most of my sets got started...
What socket rails are those? They don’t look bad!
I’ve got a couple with the metal clips but don’t like ‘em much. Got a couple of the Nepros ones and they’re great. Strong metal rails with soft plastic studs for the sockets, but a bit costly, at least for me, as I tend to buy ‘em with sockets on...!

New-ish bench vise (6 months old), I am not sure how good it is or where it's made, I needed a large vise and saw this for what is equivalent to 235 euros. Unior 721-200. Gray cast iron. Seems ok so far.

Found cheap on ebay a while ago. Not sure I would pay full price but it is nice quality. I cut it shorter and cut out the magnets so it's a bit of a mess now.
Edit. I have been looking at OEM rails on Amazon. They look ok for the price. Not sure if they are metal or plastic from the reviews.

Sealey do pretty much all of these in their own colours, can be had for about the same price, they're pretty much all the same.
They're also a tad cheaper depending where you shop.

I have a puzzle considering some german tools. Monte, this is your field of expertise!
Photos are attached. Red Atorn combination pliers, yellow-black Ironside cutters. Both are "made in Germany". On the inner side of handles, Ironside has a little circle with an arrow and letters (A, B, C,...., M). As far as I know, neither Atorn or Ironside make pliers by themselves. Any idea what company made those Atorn combination pliers? Same question for the Ironside?

I only have the 3/8 one in Blue it's aluminum with plastic clips the blue paint has held up rather well for the price I don't think you can go wrong their just short.
The best ones I have are the Heyco ones they were on Amazon a while ago for rather cheap, they are green but have a really good magnet on the back so just can pretty much slap it anywhere.

I picked up this older Record quick release vice and wondering if any of you might know when it left Record's factory? it looks a lot like a Parkinson so did Record buy Parkinson before Irwin bought Record.
also sadly I saw this picture of the old Record factory that maybe some of you live close. how long has it been vacant since they moved their factory to China?
when Irwin moved to China did they really find a town named Shefield so they could keep Shefield on their vices castings and then eliminate MADE IN ENGLAND or is that just a rumor?
