Airtools in general don't have the torque that electric powered tools can give you offcourse.
I've just tried drilling a hole and it seems this one is pretty strong. Almost to strong. I thought I could adjust rpm well with the trigger, but as soon as I touch it, it goes off like a rocket. It doesn't help that my compressor is set to 8 bar i guess...

I might just have a weak one or i am to used to electric drills. My compressor is 11 cfm unsure of the metric equivalent and was around the same pressure 8bar/120psi.

What do you think about the Hahn+Kolb prices? Are those Atorn clamps reasonably priced?

159.- is a very good price, in the Hazet promo the price is 197.- + vat.
If i would be you i would buy it if i would be me i wouldn`t because i have to "scratch money together" (can you say that in english ? ?) to buy stuff from Hoffmann.......

I just put together a list of tools I'd like to get from Hoffmann. If I bought everything I wanted I would have to spend about EUR 1000.
So I don't know about the Hazet Hinox socket set, yet.

Yes. Two weeks ago I visited the "Hausmesse" (local show) at one of the stores I buy from. I had the opportunity to check out the new Rotex RO 90, the Carvex jigsaws (new video at youtube and part two), Festool's new cordless drills C12 Li and C15 Li and the Mafell jigsaw P1cc.
The Rotex: Well-made and very versatile, low vibrations, excellent dust collection - all in all a great tool in my opinion.

Quotation from the Festool UK website:
"Ideal for window frames, tongue and groove joints, angles, corners and edges. Perfect for vertical and overhead surfaces as well as applications where space is limited and your working posture is often strained. With a slim, ergonomic shape and low weight, the ROTEX RO 90 can be gripped in a variety of different positions which prevents your arms from tiring. You can prepare for your working day much more quickly because you only need one machine on the building site instead of four. The ROTEX RO 90: for better results and increased efficiency."

The only thing I can add to this description is that the RO 90 is not very suitable for sanding large, flat areas. Due to the small size of the sanding pad it's difficult to achieve a flat surface. Don't get me wrong, the RO 90 wasn't designed for this application. I just want to emphasize that the RO 90 is specialized tool - a good one, as it seems to me.

That is the european version of a pipe wrench. "Rohrzange" it`s called over here. Swedish pattern, after the inventor from sweden (Bahco). The "Stillson" type from the US is uncommon over here.

This type is slightly more expensive in spain (for example medidas 200x100mm = 32,03 €, in germany 27,10 €) These are 32,10 and 35,60 in spain, but 26,70 and 29,50 in germany. This type is 67,80 to 363,50 € in germany. This goes from 43,90 to 264,50 in germany , so only slightly cheaper. This is 70,20 and 113.- over here. These range from 14,70 to 55,70 here. These from 43,10 to 92,30 (smaller ones cheaper in spain !! (?) )

The best is to look out for rebadged "Turnus" clamps like "Primat", "Promat", "Atorn" or "Garant", these are cheaper. In Spain you can find the "Garant/Turnus" clamps @

i dont regularly use them, so my experience is limited. I have a Hazet flexible driver which is more flexible though. I dont know which one is stronger , but i "feel" it is the Wiha version. So Hazet more flexible - Wiha stronger.

All the plastic trays are from "Gedore" except the tray with the combination wrenches (Hazet) and the "file trays" which are also from Hazet ( 2 stacked on each other - with one set of 8" ******* and smooth cut) Gedore dont make these trays , and the Hazet combi wrenches are too long so i had to buy the Hazet tray, which is wider so no small tray fits there, hence it is the place for the L-wrenches etc.)

You will have to repair a lot of head gaskets before you earned back that kind of money.

You are probably right, but all it takes is one bad job to make you wish you had done it right.

Here is my latest tool. A very useful little thing.
