Thought it might be cool to start a thread about what tools you’re using today or something like that since we are always talking about them. I had to readjust A bunch of precision vises on the VMCs at work and busted out the 1/2” drive Proto breaker, a Proto 14mm hex, and my trusty Wera 1/2” Zyklop. Been using all these guys for years and they’ve held up great in machine shop use.

More vise work. These came off the larger VMC I run. Each weighs close to 75lbs which ***** when I have no good way of grabbing them other than with my finger tips on one side and the crank on the other. Our shop has been in an ongoing move so I’ve been disassembling all the VMCs for the move. Some days I’m covered in coolant and oil from cleaning the tanks and some days like today I am covered in grease trying to clean and fix the vises. Too many tools out to name them all but the Tekton picks have been pretty awesome so far. I like my Wera hex keys but the sleeves are both a blessing and a curse. I love the extra padding for when I’m cranking on them but the padding has also stopped me from getting into deeper recesses.
