These guys are based in Ukraine, they make/sell some very good budget priced automotive diagnostic tools, they shut down due to the war/supply chain issues. Recently reopened for business 👍

website with videos etc (Google translate may be required)

Cool. If you don't like Google Translate, here's English version:

I just added /en to their address and it worked. They must get a lot of Western sales.

^ Thanks.

To those following this: Do NOT expect speedy delivery on anything from Ukraine, even when there's no shooting going on.
I never received any items in less than five weeks.

Have had a few specialty farm items that I bought from Ukraine this fall. Ranged from 2 weeks (surprisingly fast) to 2 months
Never any problems, but certainly do not expect fast shipment. It's a war zone after all

I learn something new everyday, thanks 👍

A lot of UK YouTube diagnostic guys are using Rotkee leads and sensors lately, which is how I I stumbled across them.

Looks like SP4Ukraine managed to fund 70 stoves instead of just 50.
https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/comments/zpxtg5 Good for them, and good on you if you donated.

This guy still needs $2000 for the last welding generator. I wonder if they're going to be used for making stoves or something else. I've seen some Mad Max style vehicles over there.

The way the Russians have decorated this cargo truck is hilarious. Apparently the side of the truck says "The Flying Dutchman. Part of the Ship, Part of the Crew" as a reference to the cursed pirates in Pirates of the Caribbean who could not leave their ship. The Slavs have perfected dark humor. The front of the truck is ridiculous as well.

I want to share with you my electricity backup setup. This is not a tool, but has some connection to automotive world. As electricity grid in Ukraine was severely damaged, we have power shortages and blackouts. We leave in apartment, so I can't install diesel generator to power a gas boiler and other important appliencies. So I bought the UPS and the car battary. Non ideal but at least we have heating and some lighting during the periods of blackouts

Imho jotuls are the best cast iron stoves made.

In the states, of course it it cost more. Shipping across the pond, tariffs and duties surely does make it make it so. I doubt if you shipped a vogelzang over there the price difference will be a lot less.
You guys sold one to me! :/
Was searching for a 602 since I saw that one on this thread. Now a guy from Polands seems to be prepared to disassemble it and send it to me for all together ~370€. Seems an okay deal considering it's going across Europe, just hope it won't get cracked along the way.

What a cool stove! Seems so much more thought out than the typical sheet metal oven I currently use. Big door to clean it or put big logs in, space to cook on top, no firebrick, so simple...

Heard they're a bit weak towards the back - probably cause people throw wood in. The one I'm buying is supposedly not cracked, but maybe I'll dig up some thick cast iron plate in my scrap pile and just lean it inside on the back plate as an extra shield.

You do know that the top round disc on a wood stove is meant for cooking... And there are some that include a small oven as well.

Sir, I have much respect for you and wish you and your country the best. I am personally embarrassed our country is not doing more for you and your country against Putin and the attack by Russia on your nation. It’s unacceptable and not being dealt with in the true American way due to us having a weak president leading our nation. I am thankful for what our president has done but it’s not enough in my opinion. Thank you for sharing your tool on the forum! Go, Ukraine!!!

Cuban missile crisis in reverse…….
As Vlad correctly stated before the war began, “There will be no winners”.
