As an ohioan the tools made in the state in which I live interest me. Rather than do a deep dive into the internet to find more ohio tool companies that I do not know of, I figured I could make a thread where people could post pictures and history of some Ohio tools. So post up your Ridgid, Wright, Sabina O. MAC, Warren-Teed and Qwikwerk hammers, Columbian Vice & MFG. CO. and anything else from ohio! I will start with my Columbian 504 vice:

Herbrand and old Cal Van from Fremont Ohio. Oh and Christie knives and Clauss scissors too. I remember when Cal Van closed up. My uncle used to do auto swap meets. He ended up with huge boxes of specialty tools they sold. Over the years he sold them at swap meets and made decent money doing it. Some of their stuff was pretty neat back in the day.

My benchtop variable AC/DC power supply- Brodhead Garrett, Mansfield Ohio

I got it for free from a friend of mine. He said it wouldn't adjust. All that was wrong was the set-screw on the knob was loose, lol. In his defense, it did feel scratchy, like you were turning a rheostat, but it was just the set-screw scratching the shaft of the rheostat. I tightened the screw, and off she goes. I've been using it for a couple years now. I think it was originally meant to be used in a classroom. Makes sense with the keyed power switch; so a teacher could lock it "off".
