What kind of tools do you guys keep on your oil drainers? I just keep 4 oil filter strap wrenches, 1 large filter cup, a form-a-funnel, & a grease gun. I've been thinking of getting a couple 6 pt wrenches, a plug magnet driver, & filter pliers to hang on it .

That form a funnel looks nice, wonder if it works on 5" filters. I always punch a hole in my filters to drain before I remove them.

I Have: right side, 13mm, 15mm cross force ratcheting wrenches, left side, end cap wrenches for two most common filters (I work fleet), oil filter pliers,
Two magnetic trays center: small round one for the drain plug. rectangular one holding 3/8 flex head ratchet with gearwrench drain plug sockets. Also have the otc drin plug spinner and a form a funnel. So few of my vehicles actually have zerk fittings that my grease gun is hung on the corner of a nearby shelf unit.

Only keep rags on mine. I generally work in my bay most of the day. So my 2 tool boxes and my tool cart are right there. But i do have an old mac set of metric wrenches hanging in my bay stricky for oil changes.

2 funnels, shop rags, can of brake clean. A lot of my co-workers keep a 14mm wrench, a AST filter cup, and a 1/2 ratchet with 24mm socket kicking around too for lube jobs but I keep all that stuffed in my box for whatever reason, I just don't like it laying around.

I remember seeing that form a funnel on TV, always thought it could be real handy in certain situations.

Is this for your personal use or at work where you will see many different makes and models? Don't forget the impact wrench.

My guess its to punch the filter to drain it and/or to turn it if it can't be undone otherwise
