Since its a little cooler in the attic I plan on re-running the coax cable the cable guy ran. Besides a fishtape is there anything else that will make this job easier?

I am going to have to remember to make me one of those out of an old speaker magnet I have at home! SIMPLE!

It wouldn't be hard to rig up something like that. Great idea with the speaker magnet. Or you could use one of the retrieval type magnets.

Allright, this is gonna sound reallly....duh but....

Learn to finish sheetrock.Yeah, you'll probably make a mess of it to begin with. So,start small.....go mud a new closet or sumthin.Learn where/how to place the joints....learn/buy the few tools it actually even takes. If you've ever done ANY decent bodywork on a car, then you've got one heck of a head start.

No,ripping out SR to run a wire, ain't exactly PC....but at least if it comes down to it...you aren't gonna be scared of it.Good luck
