Never. When the deals are hot, I jump on them. Sometimes I buy a lot and then I go a while with nothing. I am getting to the point where I don't need much.

I usually have GJ in one tab and eBay in another. I just won a 24in SO breaker bar with the 45deg offset drive if that makes you feel better.

I figure it's better than mindlessly watching TV.

Don't need much more here either, but it really never ends. You always find something you may need someday or an upgrade, but the pace slows down and you only jump on the superb deals.

Since joining this forum, I have been in every pawn shop in a 25 mile radius (and a few a bit further). Been on Evilbay and CL almost daily and bought no less than 7 tool boxes of varying sizes from a 20" carry box to a 40" roll cab. Its an addiction all right, but it beats buying wal mart **** that you might throw away in a year though... right?

seems like i just dont need much anymore :headscrat
i'll pick up something from the fleamarket or CL occasionally, most of my finds in the last year or so, have been freebies. rescued a set of powrkraft boxes from the dumpster, and a set of remline 'pro" boxes from the dumpster.
the powrkraft boxes had a few drill bits, taps, nut drivers, and several handfuls of off brand 1/4 dr sockets
found a vintage early 70's 3 drawer CM top box @ a flea market for $25.
ive been a pro mechanic (contruction eq.) for 25 years, started buying tools 35 years ago. only stuff i have to buy anymore are tools that i loose :wtf:
