rgates,

I did the same as you before (Except without pictures)... I was overwhelmed in about 2 hours....

I know how you feel.

Thanks for the offering...

P.S. You will get a better price here without the Ebay fees and sell the tools for a better price than what you would have sold them for most anywhere else.

OK. I give up. I am throwing out the anchor. I can not respond to all of the PM's in a timely manner. I will price the items requested in the order that the posts came in. I believe this would be the fair thing to do.

Ron

do you mean the order of the thread posts here in Classifieds, or the PM's - 'cause I didn't yet send a PM :( (I posted ^up there) and I would really like to get a LOT(maybe I should drive dwon with the truck this weekend) of stuff:bowdown::bounce:
Plus, 6 or 7 hours ago you didn't even want to post here, but I and anoter dude convinced you it was all good in "Lets see your Toolbx":bounce::lol_hitti:pimpflash:beer:

This has turned into complete madness, but I love the madness:thumbup:

I know I'm deep in line, but I'm interested in these items, and am a very reliable buyer :)

(I'm not even sure if you have all of these items, I was trying to figure out what some stuff was but wasn't quite sure)

1/4, 3/8, 1/2 extensions, regular and wobble, including flex
Cornwell wrenches (if there are any)
3/4 ratchet head and handle
"half moon" wrenches in metric, assuming decent brand
unopened Snap On metric socket set
low profile metric sockets
mid profile metric sockets
"esoteric" socket sets (e.g., XZN, Torx Plus, etc.)
spline-drive wrenches
1/2 female to 3/4 male adapter
tap and die sets
thread repair sets
feeler gauges (these seem well spoken for, but might as well mention it JIC!)

Here are some bulk pictures of tools I will be selling. This is a work in progress, so be gentle! Click on the pictures to increase size!

OK, let the fun begin!

Whoa!! 2 1/4 hours, 44 posts (to 11:15pm), and what has to be an overwhelmed PM box, Ron you just might be setting a classified record here. I saw this post and immediately thought " What a massive can o' worms you just opened for yourself...."

At the risk of being rude (not my intention), a little friendly unsolicited advice, since you've smartly dropped the anchor: Take the next day or few, search out and satisfy the answers and prices (and "sorry, already spoken for" replies) for the whopping # of posts and PM's you've just received, figure out just what you have left, then take pics of SMALL groups WITH brief descriptions/model/set #'s AND prices so you can easily track the remaining stock and reply in a more organized (and timely) fashion, and start a NEW thread.

I do not envy you at this moment.... Good luck!

Its no big thing, 40-50 PM's and 50 or so posts, piece a cake, its all good! The Ebay statement is debatable, I guess we will see. This is not my first trip down the tool sale road.:)

Please just price the items. Classified adds should have prices from the get go. Or it just ends up in a frenzy and a waist of bandwith.

I still dont know why the mods dont delete adds without prices and location.

What is the definition of a good deal?? I will entertain an offer for all. Lets qualify what all means, all means no cherry picking, come get it all. Please realize that 80% of this stuff is Snap On, which in the pricing department, is not for the faint hearted.:shocking:
I believe this is the time where the statement "put your money where your mouth is ", is appropriate! Or the all time classic of "speak now or forever hold your peace!":bounce:

I sent you a PM!

That is what I am doing. I apologize if it is not fast enough for you. I did not see any rules stating that the classifieds had to have pricing listed in the adds. If there is such a rule please kindly direct it to my attention.

That's quite a collection, talk about opening the flood gates..........

Thanks, the doubles and triples of items gets out of control fast. See post 2063- 2065 and 2102-2106 in the lets see your tool box section. The rest is self explanatory. Its time for a garage cleansing!!!:bounce:

Holding your piece is far from classic. Holding your peace, however...

Sorry, I can't stand the bad grammar/spelling on here and usually bite my tongue, but butchering a phrase/saying is where I have to say something.

one of the pretty long extensions 3/8 and 1/2
a torque wrench
a pneumatic angle grinder
the panel tools (that's what I am calling them.. center of below pic in boxes)

I had a feeling you might regret posting like this. I think your plan to answer in the order recieved is the way,not breaking chops but you responded to a post from moose on page one and my post was a couple above his and I have heard no word. I'm sure you may have been a little overwhealmed. You may want to double check .

Hey Chrislehr, here's another one for you you. Does bandwith (sic) actually have a waist? If so is it skinny or wide?

Poor command of English peeves me almost as much as whining about bandwidth.

As far as this thread goes, it's a tough call. OP is doing us a favor by posting his tools for sale here. He would do better with fleabay in terms of making money. What would you have him do, individually price all 500 or so items? That's probably not worth his time. He might as well hold on to them.

I saw those postings.................VERY impressive collection of tools you have there.

I'm assuming you are going to break these up into smaller lots, with priceing?? I will be looking forward to them. I have a few things I'm looking to pick up, there's a good chance we'll be talking further.

Good luck with the sale.

My bandwith is turbo. My waist is not turbo. If I eat indian, my waste is turbo.

Lets see, I have made 1 classified post and have brought about the following:

1. Received English & typing lessons, God forbid if there is a spelling error.
2. Requests that the moderators delete all items for sale that have no price.
3. Lectured on posting for sale items.
4. Managed to force a change in the classified forum listing rules.
5. Accused of not following the chronological order for return posts.
6. Someone actually thought it was April 1 all over again.
7. Had one person ready to drive all night to have first shot at the tools.
8. Receipt of multiple PM's from individuals looking to solidify their position in
the chronological ranking.

All of this for trying to hook some fellow tool junkies up with some tools.

Wow, does it get any better?:wtf:

Please realize selling my extra tools is not my full time profession. I am getting to everyone as soon as I can, and yes, in CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER. If you were passed over, I may of needed to get some more info. to answer your post, ie. sizes, make model.

Thanks
