Re: Tools you couldn't love without

I couldn't love without my heart....awww....
edit* thanks for fixing the title now I look like a weirdo.

I couldn't live without my HVLP guns, 1 year ago I had never sprayed a car, today I own a nice air compressor, a few HVLP guns and have sprayed a car from bottom to top, everything chassis, control arms, trunk, engine bay, engine, interior, color change.

I can't stop spraying, I am addicted to it.

My Craftsman socket/wrench set is probably my second tool, couldn't do most of the stuff I have done without it.

and a Third with be my HF 1 Ton engine hoist, I have pulled 5 engines with it, I even used it to life the 2 stage air pump onto my air tank,

3/8 mac round head flex ratchet. Use it about 85% of the time when using a drive tool. Mini 3/8 air ratchet.

Ever since I got a Snap On ratcheting screwdriver I wonder how I ever got by without it!

Other than that my 1/4" and 3/8" drive socket sets.

3/8 ratchet - Use that mother for everything.
Speed handle - Don't know what your missing until you use one.
Big *** Pryb.. I mean Flathead - great for getting up under the corners of small panels.
BIG Red - Nothing like a big red sand hammer to move something that is seized in place.

I got to thinking about this, "what is the one tool I use on every single job?"

well here it is:

Cordless impact for driving everything under the sun what a joy to use.:thumbup:

Drill Gauge for those unreadable drill bits a lifesaver.

Nut & Bolt gauge for both metric and sae also a lifesaver for my old eyes.

Last my special jig to sharpen lathe tools, it took me from an average sharpen job to a pro job overnight.:thumbup::thumbup:

Tool box, because almost every job begins and ends at the tool box.
Runners up
Bench grinder
Tig welder
4.5" grinder
horizontal bandsaw
3/8 ratchet
Internet
Drill press

Follow the rules man. One tool

Uhm, try reading the OP's post again. It says tools, plural, the s on the end indicates more than one. Something you should have learned back in middle school. ;)
