So guys, just wondering what tools you keep in the house during the cold winter months. Do you bring in your cordless tools and batteries or perhaps your electrical tools? Or any at all?

I bring in anything containing water.
Wood glue, water based paint, silicone/latex caulk (pure silicone stays outside).

I generally try to keep my cordless tools inside summer and winter. The batteries do better outside of the extreme temperatures, so I keep the charger in the house, but I don't worry about using the tools in the cold.

I have my cordless drills, temp gun, cordless trouble light and code reader inside. I wish I had room for more. Winter is not kind to tools in my garage. I also bring in the batteries of cars stored for winter.

Automotive paint, I keep inside the house during the summer. Pricey stuff these days.

I've recently moved a volt meter into the house since I used it 4 times over a weekend. :)

Cordless tool batteries stay in the house at all times. Other than that, everything stays in the garage.

My wife keeps her tools inside all of the time ! Some screwdrivers, small hammer, pliers, needle nose, diagonal cutters, light duty battery drill and power screwdriver.

I have my "computer tools" inside. Precision screwdrivers, small needle nose, small diagonal cutters and DVM.

I have that many tools and toys, that I had to build a garage with a BendPak 4 post lift and a separate NG furnace. My basement is also full. I don't bring anything inside unless it's the Harley in the Livingroom. However, since new garage is now heated I don't have to do that. Poor bike had to suffer getting deorated for Christmas, now it can sleep in peace.LOL

I have a separate tool box in the house with the tools I need for the house. My garage tools stay in the garage, and my house tools stay in my basement workshop in the house.
