I've been looking forever for a certain Mac air ratchet to come up at the price I want for like a couple years now. I saw one go for a certain amount, now they are impossible to come by in perfect condition unless I buy new.

I've been looking for a 12/13 offset box snap on round handle to replace a broken one for at least 10 years. The snap on tool truck guy will warranty it for me but since they no longer produce the round handle he offered a flat handle which i don't really want.

I have been looking for a now discontinued Snap On Speeder Handle Flex Head Ratchet 1/4" dr. TSLF936; they are relatively rare... they sell on ebay for quite a bit. I have the 3/8" version; hopefully, some day.. I can find a deal and complete the set.

3/8" drive 20mm 12pt Craftsman -G- socket. I had one and it walked away from the shop. I've been looking for at least 3 years.

I've been looking for a Snap-On GSOEX30 to go with my GSOEX28 for months. Regardless of price, there's apparently just nobody willing to part with them at all.

A BIG bench vise for less than $200. Been looking for 4-5 years now. I missed a few a few years ago, (out of town) and none since except for the guys flipping and wanting top dollar.

How big are you talking? I see alot of 50-75#'ers for sale around me for $40-$50. Usually when you see any bigger than that they are gonna cost you at least $120+. You don't have to be a vise expert to know it will sell for good $$ if you find some goliath sized USA made machinists vise in a basement of an estate sale.

I want a 22mm deep chrome 3/8 SO socket. Made them forever, I finally decide to buy the bigger sockets, they stop making them.

I used a Makita right angle drill over 20 years ago when I was a mechanic's helper during college. Been thinking about on since, but they are $200+ new. One popped up on CL about a month ago for $50. It's in my tool box now. Don't know if I'll every use it, but the quest is complete!

I bought a used Snap-on chest in 1969. I figured that as soon as I filled it I would pick up a matching roller cabinet. It took me until 2011 to find a match. I bought several tool boxes during those 42 years to keep pace with my expanding tool collection.

All I have to do now is restore them.

Miller Matic 200:bowdown:

My buddy got one about ten years ago at an auction for $50. I still try and buy it off of him. Everytime I see one for sale around me it's either totally overpriced or gone in a few hours after listed.

Everything in my wanted items thread plus a Wilton baby bullet vise that I won't have to take out a second mortgage for. Watched another one go on eBay for $250+ this evening. :willy_nil

A better quality, heavier anvil than my 100 pounder

I am putting together a collection of Plomb / Proto related ratchets. The Proto ratchet I am looking for has a flat handle like the last Plomb ratchets had and not the knurled round handle they have now. It would be model 5449 with the flat handle and the removable side plate will have los Angeles stamped on it if it has not been replaced with a repair kit sometime in its past. I am also looking for a Proto N38 style ratchet that was made by Penens with dual side plates.

I used these quite a bit when I worked for the dealership. After I left, it took me close to 15 years to find the complete set.

Some Britool and King **** spanners to complete some sets i started building years ago. The patterns are no longer in production, and they rarely come up on that international auction site.

Oh there's always a few items on the tool 'bucket list' that I'd like to get my grubby mitts on one of these days. ;)

On the hand tool side, probably the mid-depth Craftsman sockets. Missed them a few times in the classifieds here and they're rarely on fleaBay. Someday! :dunno:

On the vise side, I've got several 6" vises now (Paramo, Athol, Reed, Prentiss, Columbian) but what what would really be nice is the elusive 7" and up vises.

That and I'd really like to find a nice 5" or 6" American Scale, since I don't have anything from that brand as of yet and I'd like to see one up close.

When it comes to vises, the hunt for big game is never really over.

I've been on the hunt for a Craftsman Professional 20V impact wrench ever since they discontinued them several years ago. They are on ebay now and then, but for unreasonable prices...

Depends on your area, a decade ago I think I sold a nice Union Special along with hemming machine and sew overlock for less than $500 total, thinking it might have been a lot less.

Old Singer might be the cheapest, but Union Special or Juki maybe the best.

I haven't found a cheap enough to suit me Proto 5450 long handle 1/2 ratchet. I still have a big misc list of stuff I want if I find it at the right price, but nothing standing out at the top.

Aigo spanners 27-36mm, stubby SO ratcheting screwdriver, BP metric ratcheting wrenches. Of course, this will be on hold shortly as we are going overseas to the UK - prices there are higher than ebay even after shipping, and getting them from the UK means a 20% VAT surcharge.

The SO is current as are the BP wrenches. Perhaps you should order before leaving :)
