While the Toolsdelivered.com web site is back :D , it doesn't seem to be accepting new orders. I tried three times to place an order and each time got sent to the page that says they are closed for moving.

It's gone again. I just went there to order some Williams goodness after reading this post, and the we're moving message is back. :wtf:

oh well, maybe they just need to work out some issues. I liked ordering from them in the past and look forward to their return (hopefully soon).

Tried three times to place an order on 6/5/12 (when the Toolsdelivered.com site was back up) and each time was directed to the check back in a few days page. Then several days later I got an automated E-mail from Toolsdelivered.com wondering why I had not finished my order. :headscrat

Have to wonder if this is the end for Toolsdelivered.com.

Another option is ztsupply (?) on ebay. He's a GJ member. I ordered a set of (usa) williams sockets from him last week and was very pleased. Unfortunately you're limited to whatever overstock items they have on hand (which isn't particularly small), and that's not going to be as broad as a full line reseller/store.

ToolsDelivered.com will be up again online before the end of September. We will have many many improvements initially and over the next few months!

As an explanation for being down so long because of our move:

1) Our new location had a fire before we moved in an after we canceled our lease in Colorado causing structural damage to the building. The building has had to be 100% gutted due to this.

2) Our new location is actually in a historic district and requires unusual permitting and approval by various committees and code enforcement officials which takes time.

3) The code officials must sign off on all work before we can get permission to operate. Local codes are vague and subject to local opinion so it has been full of delays (weeks) getting guidelines and approvals.

4) We are now just waiting on electricians to wrap up the warehouse lighting, some trim installers then we will start getting up the racks.

5) The plan is in 2 weeks we will be unloading the semi trailers we have been storing everything in and be shipping again.

That is all for now.

Thank you everyone for your past business at ToolsDelivered and we look forward to serving you in the future soon.

I feel for your loss, but a notice posted on the website would have been a great help.
You may have lost a lot of customers since the website was not functioning properly.

FWIW.....I ordered from Toolsdelivered and .....my fault....ended up with Taiwan Williams sockets. I called them to exchange...expecting to eat the shipping both ways...as it was my fault for not double checking......Toolsdelivered would not take them back. In reading this thread and seeing others posting the same issue.....still I take it to be my fault. But I will not buy again, as if I eat the shipping both ways....why not take them back?

The price on the CDI 752MFRMH torque wrench I was interested in was the best, but sites with no phone number and not even an address make me nervous. I put my zip into the shipping calculator and the price did not go up when it showed total price, but there was no mention of free shipping. There was no indication of whether the item was actually in stock so I was concerned about delivery time. Internet sales can be problematic and people do lie to you but when it is difficult to even get lied to, it is a turn off

I've ordered from them several times recently and not had any problems. If something is out of stock, they tell you when you try to add it to your cart. I just enter my zip and clearly see shipping. And their address/phone is clearly listed under "contact us". Perhaps you're using a 3 yr old browser, like the 3 yr old thread you bumped, too?

I've placed several orders with them, I'll place more in the future. Best part for me is I'm in Georgia and a couple of my orders seem to have been drop-shipped directly from the Williams factory... which isn't far from here... so I've received my orders very quickly.

They have the best prices on Williams. I have had great experience ordering from them in the past. They also post on GJ periodically.

I've placed two orders with toolsdelivered.com. I've ordered a torque wrench, a socket set, some open stock sockets, wrenches, and screwdrivers. Everything except for the torque wrench drop shipped from Williams facility in Georgia. I don't mind the drop shipments, but it is annoying that they don't tell you what comes from them or what will come direct from Williams. My first order had a torque wrench and about a dozen individual wrenches and screwdrivers, the email notification made no mention of multiple shipments so I was disappointed when the package showed up with just the torque wrench and a handwritten note that the rest would be coming from Williams in a few days. On the bright side, when the socket set I ordered was missing a socket they were prompt in getting Williams to ship me a replacement.

I wanted to bring this thread back up from the depths.

I've been ordering from Toolsdelivered about every two weeks lately. Everything is great with their service and they have the best prices on those awesome American made Williams tools.

So far, their website has been accurate as to what they have in stock for immediate shipment. No disappointments yet.

I'm glad to see my earlier guess about them not coming back was wrong.

I ordered from them about a year ago after they came back. Good price, good tools and fast shipping.

If I need more Williams tools they'll be my first stop.

Williams is the reason for the delays. Toolsdelivered just drop-ships from them.

I've been waiting on a Williams ratchet I ordered through toolsource, also a drop shipper who lists Williams items, that's been "processing" ever since mid-December. It seems like Williams keeps yanking toolsource's chain with one missed ETA after another. I've had a long ongoing email correspondence with them and 6 different estimated shipping dates. They've missed 5 in a row now. The next date that gave me is Mar 3rd. Not holding my breath.

I'm not sure that's always the case.

I bought a ratchet and I believe it shipped directly from TD and wasn't drop shipped from Williams.

I've bought from there a few times. Recently, I bought a set of metric ratcheting wrenches, and was goiing to buy the SAE ones, but they were back ordered. As I was wanting to get my wrench drawer set up (cutting the mat and sticking the wrench racks down to the drawer), I didn't want to wait. So I ordered from another place.

And was notified they were on back order.

Got a note from TD that they were back in stock right at about the time the other place shipped them.

Y'all can read into that what you want. I'm happy with TD, and while I appreciate their communication up front, it did unfortunately cost them a sale. But they will be getting more of my business in teh future when I need Williams tools because of it.

the company is questionable at best. have had a bad experience with them. I ordered an expensive tool hoping to save a few dollars and several weeks later got a tool that seemed used (maybe that's how they're selling for a discount) and there was no way of getting a refund since all purchases of this type are final. a word to the company "what goes around, comes around."
