I've never bought anything from Tooltopia but my few experiences with JB Tool Sales have been flawless. Very happy with them..

I've ordered from both. Tooltopia delivery was a bit faster. JB Tools delivery to CA for me was 5 days and my order was split into two shipments but I was not informed of that. One shipment arrived in 3 days the other in 5. JB didn't charge tax but Tooltopia does in CA so that is another factor for me to consider.

I've had half a dozen or so transactions with each. Tooltopia is very fast. JB disappointed me a bit on one issue, pretty minor though.

I buy from JB Tool Sales as their customer service is spot on, their prices are good, they're willing to price match, and they'll warranty Grey Pneumatic sockets, even though they're not an authorized distributor. Never had an issue with them in the half-dozen or so transactions I've had with them, they always ship quickly.

I typically get the Tooltopia order before I get the email with tracking info for it!

BTW...on refunds. The bank can hold the funds until the next billing cycle, so it can take as many as 30 days before one sees the refund. Kind of how they can't charge interest until the following business cycle. Same kind of thing. At least a large portion of it is beyond the vendor's control.

I've ordered a lot from Tooltopia and have nothing bad to say. Only had one issue with them. I ordered a test light and when it arrived it was wrong as was their description on the website. I emailed them explaining the situation along with the manufacture description which was quickly responded to. They told me to keep the test light I got and they would send me the correct one free of charge. The correct one came 2nd day air. Cant beat that.

Still waiting for my March 21 order from JB Tools. Not sure if this is typical though. ToolTopia is much faster

I have about 25+ orders with tooltopia.

Great prices, selection and customer service. Usually they get me my stuff pretty quickly.

Ordered from JB and had a warranty issue. Even though the document they sent stated they were responsible for covering the replacement they wouldn't honor it. Had to take it up with the manufacturer, and they did right. JB refuses to honor their warranty. Too many other places to spend the dollar.

That's similar to the issue I had with the them. I know plenty of people have had no issues with them, but I think that perhaps they don't respond well when there is a minor problem they could easily remedy. Problems may be infrequent, but they don't seem to react well when something does go wrong.

I like both but I always check ToolTopia first so I don't have to pay for sales tax.

I bought many tools from JB Tools and their shipping is quick via usps priority mail. Their customer service is awesome, on par with Harry J. Epstein'.

I have had good luck with both. I have found some tools are cheaper on JB Tools eBay site than on their website. Tooltopia must be the JimmyJohns of the tool websites. I put in an order on Monday night at 8:20 pm. It was here today (Wednesday) at 3:30 pm when I arrived home. The box was labeled FedEx ground. WTH! :dunno:

I prefer Tooltopia. A couple times I've ordered and gotten emails that weren't mass produced or sent from a personal company email asking how their service was. Quick replies. Really personal.

Same here....I got the tools/package before receiving a tracking number.
