No politics! No trolling! Go!

p.s. You don't have to post 5 and you can post more than 5.

3/8" ratchet and sockets, metric and standard. Pretty much the foundation for a tool set. A good pair of vise grips have been indispensable in my garage. Also, I always keep a pencil, a pen, and a permanent marker in my tool box. You never know what you will need to mark.

Almost everyone can agree on swiss army knife and hammer. If only there was a swiss army knife with a hammer, a light, and a car lift built in.

Cotter pin puller (craftsman) - It has surprised me over the years how many times I've used that thing to do something (unrelated to cotter pins at all)

RoboGrip pliers - I've had the same set since they first came out and go to them frequently

Spyderco Delica knife - most used tool of all

Vice

LED headlamp - used with telescoping mirror to see in to dark places

Telescoping pickup tools - magnetic and "the claw"
