9-drawer is 27 wide and 18 deep. $365
6-drawer is 26 wide and 18 deep. $331

What's the advantage of the split top drawers vs 6 full-width drawers?

Organize small stuff vs piling it all in one drawer. Some people need it, some people don't.

Hum, I'd like to check that 2nd one out in person. Appears to be made in Canada. It looks like a quality box. If it is built better than the first one I'd go that way. The drawer layout and grip latch of the 1st box are nice. But they both have about the same in^2 storage. I'd really be interested in the quality of the 2nd box. Do they have them in stores down there?

I like the full length drawers. I wish my Craftsman 41" had a full length instead of the smaller drawers on one side. I have to split wrench sets, sockets, ratchets, and drivers. I've debated adding an intermediate full length or getting a top box with the same split drawer configuration. Only plus on the top would be the open top is full length. Still doesn't help me because I'd rather have that full length below eye level.

It does look like a Canadian Flag on the upper front corner.... Might be worth checking the International toolbox website... They are a good line of boxes.

I agree on the Grip-Latch feature on the first box.. I have had two matching tops and bottoms since 2005... Close the drawers and move without drawers coming open..
