Ok so to start I sanded primed , 100% epoxy did a full coverage flake, scraped it the next day then put down one cost of hpu 747, waited about 6 hrs and put down a 2nd coat. Looked great at 1st but now day 5 and it’s not as shinny feels rough and also kinda gummy and with my nail I can peel up the high spots IMG_0759.jpgIMG_0797.jpgIMG_0817.jpg. I used a mixer for 4-5 min also. The temps have been in the 40s at night and only 60s during the day. Has anyone else had this problem?

More than likely it's due to the temperature. It states in the data sheets not to apply if temps will be below 45 degrees. These minimum temps are required during the curing phase as well. In addition it states in the limitations section that gloss will be affected by low temps.

Do you know what the humidity was when applied? Also, did you apply it in thin coats or thicker?

It only went under 45 maybe 2 times and rode that 45deg line.
I didn’t put it down thick that’s the reason I did 2 coats.
Humidity wasn’t high but I finished Saturday night and it rained that Monday.
Is there anything to put down over it or will it remain rubbery and rough now?

The combination of dropping below 45 twice and then riding that line may have been too close to the temp limitation for too long. You didn't mention how long it was below 45. Unfortunately, you can't apply a good coating over bad. I would recommend that you contact the vendor you purchased the product from and discuss your situation.

We have occasionally seen this issue where it gets cold during the curing process and then the curing stops. Most likely if its not cured in a week or so it may need to be removed and redone. 40's are cold... Add a heater and get it warm as possible...see what happens.

So I had some more time to look at what is going on. I ordered Harley chrome flake. The only areas I’m having this problem is where the “chrome” part of the flake is. Not sure what color chips will do about this if anything. Really weird
